1ink.com Savings Hacks
Check if free shipping offers require a minimum spend on 1ink.com. Grouping smaller purchases together can help you reach the threshold and avoid multiple shipping charges on separate orders.
Retailers in the office supply category often run promotions tied to back-to-school, holidays, and seasonal events. Timing your purchases around these sales windows can maximize your savings beyond standard coupon codes.
Many office and tech retailers send exclusive coupon codes to email subscribers. Creating an account and opting in to communications may unlock additional discounts not advertised on the main site.
If you leave items in your cart without completing purchase, retailers sometimes send follow-up emails with special codes to encourage checkout. This tactic often yields codes competitive with or better than standard promotions.

1ink.com Reviews
1ink.com has a poor reputation among shoppers, with the vast majority of reviews citing serious product quality and compatibility issues. Common complaints include cartridges and toner that do not work in printers despite matching stated compatibility numbers, defective products that damage printer components, and problematic return policies that penalize customers for opening packages to troubleshoot non-working items. Shoppers report receiving products that are rejected by printers, fail to register, or cause hardware damage, with customer service offering limited recourse. A small minority of reviewers report successful purchases, but these represent a small fraction of feedback.
The dominant concern across reviews is that 1ink.com either misrepresents product compatibility or sells defective supplies. Multiple shoppers describe the cartridges as appearing counterfeit or incompatible despite matching model numbers. Return difficulties, including requirements to open products before return eligibility and refusal to accept opened packages, compound customer frustration. The store's contract terms and customer service responses have also drawn criticism for heavily favoring the company over buyer protection.
The black cartridges didn't work in my printer. Customer service said to reinstall them and try again but nothing worked. I bought two and neither one worked no matter how many times I tried. Even though they seemed to fit in the slot properly, the printer kept rejecting them. I couldn't even attempt to print with them installed, just got an error message. Had to put my old empty cartridge back in just to print with the colors.
First and only purchase from them. Triple checked my printer's cartridge model number to be certain. The one from 1ink matched. Once it arrived looked identical to the original brand cartridge. Turns out it wasn't quite right and damaged the ink drum in my MFC-9970CDW printer. Now facing $200 plus in repair costs plus shipping for returning something that broke my equipment. Buy from them at your own risk. Saving a small amount now could end up costing you way more later.
This company is really disappointing. They lock you into contracts that heavily favor them and don't treat customers fairly. They talk about giving you fleet work but it never actually happens.
Ordered a 9 pack for my Epson printer in April and got extra packs so I wouldn't run out. Some cartridges wouldn't register after I installed them. Asked for replacements and got them sent, but in July I had more issues with cartridges the printer said to push in further, which I couldn't do even though I'd done it successfully before. One cartridge leaked red ink all over my wood floor and 3 others wouldn't push in at all. Called and barely convinced the tech to replace them. Never received them, called back, and was told too many replacements had already been sent and the purchase was outside warranty or I needed a new printer. I said my printer works fine with their other ink. They promised to replace the 4 cartridges and I believed them, but then changed their mind and never told me. Never saw any mention of a warranty period before. I've used this company several times with no issues until lately.
Stay away from 1INK.COM for printer supplies. This is straight-up theft through dishonest practices. They pressure you to open toner cartridges to test them when they don't work, then refuse returns on opened packages. 1Ink won't own up to selling defective toner cartridges and drum units. I'm reporting this to the Better Business Bureau and filing a complaint with the state attorney general's office for unfair business practices and fraud. I bought 2 drum and toner cartridge kits for my Brother MFC-L2707DW and received completely wrong model numbers. Paid $135.13 and 1INK refuses to refund me even though their products don't fit or work. They insist the equipment is compatible when it's not. The cartridges cause paper jams and excessive toner smearing. I have to open the printer's rear panel every time I print to remove jams. None of their equipment functions properly.
Your cartridges won't work in my HP printer. They're not compatible and appear to be counterfeit. Paid more for these than I would have for legitimate ones. Your advertising is misleading and dishonest. I need a full refund.
I looked up my printer on their website and it showed me just one cartridge as compatible. I ordered that one and got a completely different cartridge instead. Didn't notice until I opened the package. When I complained, they insisted I somehow ordered the wrong thing even though I followed their website's recommendation. No refund, no discount offered. Just stuck with it.
These cartridges just don't work. Followed every instruction customer service gave me and still got error messages. The replacements they sent didn't work either. Wasted my time and wasted my money. Don't make the same mistake I did.
Really unhappy with the quality and zero customer support. Bought a bunch of color and black ink because they claimed it was just as good as name brands. That's completely wrong. The colors are terrible, not vibrant or realistic at all. The shades, tones, and brightness all fall way short of acceptable standards. Can't get the results I need. When I contacted customer service about my concerns, they never even answered. That's pretty bad customer service. To top it off, the cartridges aren't even completely full. My printer shows ink levels and brand new cartridges showed only 25 to 50% full. One fresh color cartridge only printed green! We need to know products will actually work when we buy them. This whole thing is really disappointing. Find a better company.
Total garbage product and company. Ordered 5 cartridges as backup stock a few months ago. Last month the black one started having issues so I swapped it out with a replacement. Got an error message saying no communication. Tried the other black cartridge they sent and that didn't work either. Called support and they said they'd help. Two weeks go by with no word so I reach out again. Their response was that a firmware update must have happened without my knowledge and they won't warranty or refund anything. Meanwhile I ordered a cartridge from LD Products and it works perfectly. Seems that phantom firmware update doesn't bother LD Products cartridges. Skip this company because they won't fix their bad products.
Really bad customer support here. I ordered 5 cartridges for my HP Office Pro 8620 when I only actually needed the magenta one. The other cartridges from 1Ink don't work in my printer. Tried swapping them all out with 1Ink cartridges but nothing helped. Sent multiple emails asking for help but got no response at all. I'm sure most customers dealing with these kinds of problems won't keep coming back.
I had a similar bad experience as many others. Got sent a defective product where the black ink was so light on the first page it was basically useless, and the blue color printed all misaligned. Didn't even bother opening the magenta and yellow. Paid to ship it back and they only gave me a partial refund. Still waiting to hear their explanation. From what I've read in other reviews, I'll probably have to dispute it with my credit card company to get my full money back. Also worth noting that I've used other non-HP toner multiple times both before and after this bad experience with no problems. Just go somewhere else, you'll be much happier.
Used these cartridges for many years without any problems. Recently things have changed and I keep getting defective ones with zero support from the company. They make everything difficult and you can't talk to anyone directly about problems. Lost hundreds of dollars on cartridges that don't work when HP cartridges have never given me trouble. Really frustrated with how they operate. Don't buy from them.
Absolutely amazing customer service! I ordered ink for two different Epson printers, and 1ink actually called me to make sure my order was correct with no mistakes. That kind of attention to detail really impressed me. I've been a customer for years and never had any issues at all. Would definitely recommend 1ink to everyone I know without any hesitation.
Got 3 cartridges including 2 CL-211XL and 1 PG-210XL. The CL-211XL ones didn't work at all. Ran deep cleaning cycles and alignment fixes but still got awful results. Threw them away and ordered from ComboInk instead, which I should have done originally. 1INK responded by saying my review was made up. It wasn't. I emailed them on January 31, 2024 about the problems and they gave me troubleshooting steps and offered replacements. I'd already tossed the bad cartridges by then so I declined. I'll give anyone a copy of the email chain if needed. You're more focused on avoiding blame than actually fixing your quality problems, which explains everything about why your stuff breaks. Do some real quality checks and address the actual issues. Sounds like another company is taking your business. Let me know if you want those emails or just search for my account details. Fix the problem instead of denying it exists. I'm done with this back and forth.
