How to Use a Aer Lingus Promo Code
- Visit aerlingus.com and search for your desired flight route, dates, and number of passengers.
- Review available flights and select your preferred option to proceed to the booking page.
- On the checkout page, locate the promo code field and enter your code exactly as provided.
- Verify the discount has been applied to your total fare before completing payment.
- Finish your purchase and check your email for a confirmation with your booking reference and e-ticket.
Promo Code Not Working? Try This
- Your code may have expired, so verify the offer date and try a different current promotion from RetailCoupons.com.
- Codes sometimes apply only to specific routes or booking types, so confirm your flight meets the code restrictions.
- Entering a code with extra spaces or capitalization errors will prevent it from working; copy and paste it carefully.
- Some promotional codes exclude certain passenger types or booking classes, so review the fine print before checkout.
- If a code fails to apply, clear your browser cookies and try again, or contact Aer Lingus customer service for assistance.
- Airline promotions occasionally conflict with existing discounts in your account; contact support if this occurs.
Aer Lingus Savings Hacks
Apply a promo code at checkout and ensure you are signed into your frequent flyer account to earn miles on top of the discount. Some airline codes combine with loyalty benefits for extra value.
Combine a promo code with midweek flight bookings, which typically have lower baseline prices than weekend departures, maximizing your overall savings.
Use your promo code on flights from regional airports near you rather than major hubs, where fares are often lower before discount application.
Apply promotional codes to bookings during shoulder seasons (spring and fall) when airfare is already reduced, creating compound savings.
Aer Lingus Shipping Policy
Airline tickets are digital products delivered by email as e-tickets, so there is no physical shipping. Ensure your email address is correct during booking to receive your confirmation and travel documents promptly.
Aer Lingus Returns & Refund Policy
Airline ticket refund and change policies vary by fare type and booking conditions. Review Aer Lingus's specific cancellation and modification terms before purchasing, as promotional codes may have their own restrictions on refundability.

Aer Lingus Reviews
Aer Lingus receives sharply polarized reviews, with 19 total ratings averaging 3.7 out of 5. The airline's most significant challenges center on baggage handling issues, including lost or misrouted strollers with no clear accountability, as well as flight cancellations and subsequent rebooking experiences. Passengers report chronic seat discomfort on longer flights (narrow pitch and minimal legroom), inadequate in-flight meal portions, weak entertainment systems, and frequent delays on certain routes. Customer service responsiveness appears inconsistent, with customers frustrated by automated system responses and closed service desks during critical moments.
On the positive side, a substantial portion of reviewers rate their experiences highly at five stars, suggesting that some passengers have satisfactory or better journeys with the airline. However, detailed positive feedback is limited in available reviews. The airline's rewards credit card program and booking system also draw criticism, with customers encountering frustrating technical barriers when attempting to redeem miles or manage bookings.
Had a terrible time with the airline's rewards credit card program. Trying to book a redemption flight turned into a nightmare since I kept getting automated responses saying it couldn't be done. Would recommend looking elsewhere for a card.
Our stroller got lost with this airline and no one seemed to care. It had the wrong luggage tag on it and was sitting on the carousel even though we had a connection to New York from Manchester. Nobody took responsibility for it. They suggested getting a temporary stroller from another counter that wasn't even open. To make matters worse, they closed the gate, forcing us to go all the way around upstairs and back down while carrying two suitcases, three backpacks, and a five month old baby without a stroller. Everyone just kept repeating it wasn't their job. The immigration officer was particularly unwelcoming and said I was getting in her way because I was holding the baby while asking for assistance. We had to spend our whole week in New York without a stroller. This was absolutely unacceptable.
We had our baby stroller mishandled on this flight. The luggage label was wrong to begin with, and even though we had a tight connection to New York from Manchester, it just kept going around on the belt with nobody taking responsibility. When we asked for a temporary stroller, the desk was closed. Then the gate shut and we had to take a massive detour upstairs and back down carrying two large cases, three backpacks, and a five month old baby with no stroller. Everyone kept saying it wasn't their department or responsibility. Airport staff were especially unhelpful and rude, saying I was being a distraction while I was just trying to carry my baby and bags looking for help. We spent an entire week in New York without a pram. Really unacceptable.
After my booking got cancelled in late February, I was rerouted on their flight through Dublin to get to my destination. The initial leg was decent and uneventful, but the long-haul portion left me frustrated. Seats felt cramped with no legroom whatsoever, the entertainment options were pretty weak, and the meal was barely enough to fill anyone up. Even worse, I had to pay extra just to get a beer during a transatlantic flight. They're not any better than budget airlines in my opinion. I won't be flying them again.
My original flight got cancelled mid-February, so they put me on their aircraft heading to SFO through Dublin instead. The short leg was perfectly fine, but the longer transatlantic portion was disappointing. The seat pitch was terrible with barely any room to stretch, the in-flight entertainment was pretty limited, and the meal was tiny. What really got me was having to buy a beer on an international flight. This airline isn't standing out compared to budget carriers. I won't be going back.
This route between the two cities is constantly running late. My evening flight was pushed back almost three hours. Terrible service and I won't be booking with them anymore.
I was traveling through a few cities with connections at Dublin and JFK. When I missed my connection at Dublin, I headed to the ticket counter. The representative there really went above and beyond to help me out. She got me on the next available flight without charging any rebooking fees and was super understanding throughout the whole thing. The transatlantic portion was comfortable too.
Yesterday's service from Barcelona to Dublin was excellent. The aircraft was running late leaving Dublin due to poor weather conditions. They had a short turnaround and couldn't restock, but they were totally honest about it. The crew stayed cheerful and patient all day and really helped passengers who were connecting onward. They even arranged wheelchair help for some travelers in Dublin. Even though the flight was short, the crew made it feel special. The people working for them are what makes the airline great.
Flew business class from Manchester to New York and back. The service was outstanding from the moment I checked in through landing. Both cabin crews were hardworking, attentive, and genuinely friendly. Everything felt comfortable and well maintained throughout the cabin, and even when I had a seat issue, the crew worked quickly to fix it. The meals were delicious and came out promptly. It was my first time flying with them and I'm definitely booking again.
We ended up missing our connecting flight and had to rebook, and they were incredibly cooperative about getting us sorted. They set up disability accommodations for us and one of the flight crew members even convinced another passenger to switch seats so we'd have extra space. The crew took great care of us and our flight departed right on schedule.
Never flown them before and was really pleased with how everything turned out. Had a short trip booked from Birmingham to Belfast, though my original departure airport got shut down. No problem at all, and the airport handled the change professionally. Everything operated exactly on schedule. Our flight attendant was super friendly and helpful, even recommending some local spots to check out and eat at. Will definitely book with them again.
I've flown several airlines to Boston including Jet Blue and British Airways. The service was fine on all of them. I'd pick them over the others though if I get the chance. First reason is their aircraft with the 2-4-2 seating layout in economy. That's genuinely the best spacing you'll find. Second reason is the personality from the flight crew. The captain was joking around so much he said he'd hug everyone if the heat wasn't turned up. The seating arrangement alone makes them my top choice. Plus if you're heading to the states, flying through Dublin means you can clear immigration there instead of at your final destination, which is a huge bonus.
