Our appetizer arrived without any plates, so I was stuck handling the food with my hands and getting really messy. We requested plates, and once we got them, the main meal was wonderful. But when I tried my potatoes, there was a hair mixed in. The manager's response was disappointing - they only knocked off three dollars from our ninety-six dollar check. I felt like at minimum a full entree should've been comped. It made me so ill that I ended up throwing everything up. I have a hard time getting over that kind of thing when it involves something from another person, and the manager even suggested I might have put it there myself when he came by. The server witnessed it happen and knew I hadn't. The situation kept making me sick even an hour later.

I'm sensitive about finding foreign objects in my food like that, and the manager even questioned whether I put it there myself, which was insulting since the server was right there and saw me pull out the hair.

I've consistently had delicious meals here and never had a bad one. The real problem is the table condition. They feel sticky and grimy, and no amount of cleaning gets them properly sanitary. The Alpine branch in Grand Rapids really needs those tables refinished with a sanding and fresh poly coating. It's definitely overdue.

We went to the Wytheville location and had poor service from the start. The host seated us and promised someone would be right over, but nobody came to take our order. My husband and I waited for a quarter hour while staff members stood around chatting instead of helping.

Visited the location in Wytheville and had a disappointing experience. After we were seated, the host said someone would be with us soon. We went through the menu and ordered our drinks, but then nothing. We waited fifteen minutes for someone to take our order while multiple waitresses were just chatting nearby doing nothing.

Stopped by the Brandon Applebee's and had a wonderful experience with their appetizer and drink deals going on. The bartender was really great and attentive. This place is definitely where we're heading every Sunday now for football and drinks.

Went to the Brandon location today and had an excellent time. They were running deals on appetizers and beers, which was great. The bartender was fantastic and really made the experience special. We've decided to make this our regular Sunday spot for watching football.

The servers were courteous and made us feel welcome, and the food had great flavor.

The experience at the Tampa Sheldon Road branch was outstanding. Our server has consistently delivered excellent service, and we've been loyal customers for quite some time. The staff here makes you feel like you're part of their family.

We had such a fantastic time at the Sheldon Road location in Tampa. Our server has always been so attentive and helpful, and we keep coming back specifically because of the excellent service. We've become regulars, and the whole team treats us like family there.

The Veterans Road location in Staten Island really impressed me. Walking in, there was this beautiful display of handmade thank you cards from a local school and girl scout troop, mostly created with crayons. When we got seated, the hostess brought over an envelope with a personal thank you note inside from a student expressing gratitude for military service. They had a whole stack of these notes for veterans to receive. The staff and management treated us wonderfully, and when I asked for the bill, our server mentioned that another customer had already paid for my wife's meal. On top of that, the manager also took care of our dessert. It was such a meaningful evening, and I really appreciate how Applebee's honored us and the kindness of that stranger.

The service staff are consistently professional and attentive. You always have a great time dining here.
