Brought in a 2 year old battery still covered by a 4 year warranty to the Mooresville spot after pulling it from my truck and driving out. They told me their test would need 24 hours, which meant I had to buy a $270 replacement right then. Plus they warned the new one couldn't be returned once I put it in, so I was totally stuck. To keep my return option, I had to use a borrowed car for the night. Called the next day and they said they never actually ran the test because they have to let batteries sit off chargers overnight. No apology or acknowledgment that they gave me wrong info initially. Just excuses and a dismissive attitude. When I mentioned being misled, the guy told me he took offense to that and hung up on me. This whole experience was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional.

Initially hesitant about going there for phone repairs, but after taking my grandson's ride-on vehicle to them a few months back with battery problems, I became a loyal customer. Mark and his crew at the Redding location fixed my son's Samsung phone screen and did other work in just 2 hours. They also tested and replaced two online toy batteries that quit working after 3 months, giving me a fresh set with a year guarantee. My whole family really appreciates their help and won't go online anymore for batteries.

The warranty program here is a total rip-off. Bought a high end Duracell battery and they misrepresented the warranty as being good for 36 months. When it died and wouldn't hold a charge, they wouldn't honor it, claiming a dead battery that won't charge isn't covered. That's exactly what the warranty should be for. If I'd bought the same battery at Costco, Walmart, or anywhere else, there would be no issue. This company has absolutely no integrity in how they do business.

Won't stand behind their warranty claims. They blame problems on neglect or misuse instead of actually honoring what they sold you. I'm noticing lots of other people complaining about the exact same thing. Purchased what seemed like a solid marine battery that came with a 4 year warranty, but turns out they're taking advantage of customers with these bogus warranty terms.

Following up on my experience with Batteries Plus. I've reached out around 20 times between calls and emails. Since I work in customer service myself, I can tell you this kind of response is completely unacceptable.

I got advertised an 18% discount but the code didn't come through until way after I'd already placed my order. When I tried to use the site at the store to fix it, the mobile website wouldn't load on either my phone or my wife's phone, so I'd already canceled the first order. Ended up losing the advertised price and the discount. I also asked the Laurel location to do their advertised three point check before any work. They said the technician had already started so they couldn't do it, but after I pushed back they finally did. Won't be going back to Batteries Plus.

Had an amazing time at the Avon location. The customer service team was fantastic and everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable. They understood exactly what I was looking for and got me taken care of perfectly. I'd absolutely recommend this store to anyone I know.

Got a motorcycle battery from their online site using their fitment system. When I got home, it didn't fit at all, way bigger than my old one. Drove back to return it and the staff didn't even apologize. I'm finished with them. Their online fitment tool isn't reliable at all.

This is straight up fraud. They advertise that you can return batteries that haven't been used, but they won't actually do it. Rejected my return on a new, unopened battery just sitting in its box, saying it got damaged when I hooked up a trickle charger that I bought from them too. I'm done shopping here and wouldn't trust them with your money.

iPhone 13 screen and battery replacement needed. Cody at the Creve Coeur location was outstanding. When the first screen didn't work out, I brought it back the next day and he replaced it right away. Beyond just swapping it, he watched over the phone for quite a while to make sure everything else was functioning correctly. Would highly recommend.

Outstanding service from start to finish. My car battery died on a Saturday evening around 5:20, and with a neighbor's help I limped over to the Batteries Plus on Commerce Drive. Tim helped me right away by confirming the battery was still under warranty, swapped it out for a new one at no cost, and had me back on the road quickly. He was professional, kind, and took great care in testing the bad battery and working with his manager to handle the replacement properly. I really appreciate Tim going the extra mile and want to give him a proper thank you for his excellent service.

The Flowood store has always delivered quality service for me. I've been in a couple times and Danielle assisted both visits. She didn't just solve the issues but also provided thoughtful recommendations that really helped. Danielle has a special way with older customers and never makes anyone feel bad for not knowing something. Her attitude is wonderful and her customer care is exceptional. More businesses could learn from someone like Danielle.
