BJ’s Restaurants Savings Hacks
BJ's Restaurants rotates offers regularly through affiliate programs, so visit RetailCoupons.com frequently to catch new deals before they expire. Set a reminder to check back periodically so you do not miss limited-time promotions.
Restaurant promos often have specific conditions, such as dine-in versus takeout, day-of-week restrictions, or menu exclusions. Always read the complete offer details before heading to the restaurant to avoid disappointment at checkout.
Many restaurants offer loyalty or rewards programs that stack with coupon codes. Check whether BJ's Restaurants has a membership or points program that can be combined with your promo code for extra savings.
Some restaurant coupons are more readily honored during slower dining periods. Lunch specials or early-bird deals may offer better value than evening promotions, so consider timing your visit strategically.

BJ’s Restaurants Reviews
BJ's Restaurants receives polarized feedback from customers, with ratings clustering at both extremes. Positive reviewers praise the drink selection, pleasant atmosphere, and standout customer service at certain locations, particularly highlighting welcoming staff members who go above and beyond. However, negative reviews consistently cite food quality issues including stale or low-quality ingredients, portion problems, slow service during busy times, and unresolved customer service complaints such as malfunctioning rewards cards and unfulfilled requests to management.
The restaurant shows inconsistency across locations and visits. While some customers report frequent satisfying visits and appreciate attentive servers who address kitchen mistakes, others describe disappointing food presentation, unavailable menu items, and frustration with the rewards program and support team responsiveness. These conflicting experiences suggest that BJ's Restaurants delivers excellent hospitality in some instances but struggles with operational consistency, food quality standards, and follow-up on customer complaints.
We frequently visit the location in the San Antonio area and usually walk away satisfied with our visit. There's a particular server there who really pays attention when something comes out of the kitchen wrong, which matters a lot given my health condition. Lately though, the food quality hasn't been as gentle on my stomach as it used to be, so I'm dropping a star for that reason. I've noticed some of the meat and dairy products haven't tasted quite right. My main frustration with restaurants in general is when they make cost-cutting changes without letting customers know. That's actually risky since people can get sick from ingredient swaps. I'm not saying for certain that's what's happening here, but the taste suggests something has shifted. Plus, I've found I can't eat some dishes I used to enjoy there without issues.
I'm really let down by what happened with my rewards gift card. When I went to use the bonus card I got, it didn't work, and that was both awkward and upsetting. I sent several messages to the rewards team laying out the issue. After explaining everything and giving them all the details they asked for, they still haven't actually fixed anything or helped me. How this hasn't been resolved quickly and properly is baffling since it should be simple. I'm giving them two more weeks to make this right, or I'll need to look into legal options.
The nachos were depressing to look at and taste. Honestly some of the saddest food I've ever been served. Just two small chunks of chicken that were clearly not fresh and seemed like mass produced stuff. I also got the boneless wings, which were basically just chicken nuggets. There was food and debris scattered all across the floor too. Definitely won't be going back anytime soon.
We absolutely adore BJ's restaurant. The Goodyear location has such amazing staff. Madison at the front is so welcoming and warm. She's truly one of a kind and her hospitality really stands out.
We sat at the bar for happy hour and ordered an Oktoberfest beer, but they told us they were out. My wife wanted avocado rolls, but they said those were out too. We settled on the sliders, but it took forty five minutes for them to come out. When we asked a couple times what the hold up was, they said it would be ready shortly, but that clearly wasn't accurate. There were staff members just hanging around the whole time. We won't be back.
I had a nice time here. The drink selection is great and the vibe is really pleasant.
The Irvine location is definitely a go to spot for us. Their food is delicious and the staff is really friendly, professional, and quick with service. We've been going there for about eight years now and haven't had any issues at all. Riley, Bradi, Alex, Amber, Kiley, Kera, and Cam are all standouts who deserve mention. As long as things stay the way they are, we'll keep coming back. If you haven't tried their French dip, you should, and the pizza is fantastic. It's also a fun place to watch sports.
This was my first time at this location and everyone there was so nice and helpful. The dessert was incredible. You all rock.
We showed up around noon with my wife, grandson, and son to celebrate a birthday lunch. The menu was grimy with food stuck all over it. We had to request drinks before we could even order anything, and that took about ten minutes. After we placed our order for nachos with steak and asked about a high chair, our appetizers didn't come out until more than twenty minutes later. The steak was completely raw. When we sent it back, the manager argued with me about whether it was actually undercooked. I know how to cook, and I know my temperatures. The guy had a real attitude about it. As a manager, he should know better. I won't be eating there again. Even worse, I still paid the whole bill for the poor experience.
A couple weeks back, I went to BJ's with a friend during happy hour for the first time. We grabbed seats at the bar. The service left a lot to be desired, and while the pizza tasted good, it didn't have quite enough sauce. The bartender did bring me more sauce, but unfortunately it was cold, and he seemed in a rush to move on rather than help us properly. I came back today and was greeted by Denise. She smiled, made me feel welcome, and told me my carryout order would be ready soon. We ended up having a really nice chat while I waited, and I really appreciated how she took time to talk with me. When my pizza came out, it was fantastic. I got the sausage and onion, and she even asked what kind of onions I wanted, which was a nice touch. She's clearly a real asset to the place. I've worked in restaurants for over four decades, and Denise is genuinely among the very best I've come across. Thanks for having her up front. That smile of hers is totally contagious. I'll definitely be back because of her.
I tried filing a complaint through their order form but wasn't sure if it went through, so I messaged them on their Facebook page. I had ordered on the evening of May twenty sixth around seven fourteen pm and the delivery arrived at eight forty five pm. My concern was about the Strawberry Lemonade I received. It was poorly packaged or handled because the cap wasn't on properly and the seal hadn't been broken, which meant anyone could've tampered with it. I reported this to the delivery service as well. When I let the restaurant know about this safety issue, they showed zero concern, which honestly felt awful. The very least they could do is apologize. It seems like they don't really value me as a customer. I won't be ordering from BJ's again. When they finally replied, all they said was thank you for bringing this up but they can't offer compensation. Whether they need my business or not, they've lost it.
We dined at the location in New Braunfels a couple days ago and had an absolutely outstanding server named Robert. He was honestly one of the best servers we've ever experienced anywhere. He stayed on top of everything and made sure we had whatever we needed. The food was excellent too. We really appreciate having him on the team.
I went in for lunch today and had absolutely terrible service. The server took orders from all the tables around us and then came to our table. I mentioned that all those other orders were placed after us, and she confirmed that was true. Since I was only there for a lunch break, I didn't want to order and wait forever. It ended up taking the entire hour before our food arrived. The manager just stood by and did nothing about it. The customer service was just awful. I can't help but wonder if there was bias at play here.
We went to the location in Lewisville on a Saturday night and had a rough time. The server was pretty unhelpful, and the manager wasn't much better. I ordered a soup and salad combo and asked specifically for tomato basil soup with a wedge salad. When I asked the server what comes on the wedge salad before ordering, she said vinaigrette. When my salad arrived, it wasn't what I'd asked for. The manager came over, went back to the kitchen, and brought me the wedge salad but added blue cheese without asking. I don't like blue cheese, and they didn't give me a choice about it. I said forget the salad and just wanted the soup. The combo was marked at ten fifty, but somehow I was only charged seven fifty, which wasn't even the right discount. I won't go back to that location. The service was poor and the waitress never checked on us.
