Going somewhere that actually values my business. I dropped over 200 bucks on supplements and didn't get even a free shaker bottle or any kind of gift. No little token to show they appreciate customers like me for making that purchase.

I've ordered from bodybuilding.com for over a decade and a half. Used to be they had solid customer service. Out of hundreds of orders, maybe a few had issues - a dented package or something missing. I'd jump on the live chat and they'd take care of it immediately, no questions asked, right there in the conversation. It was easy and convenient. Those days seem to be gone. Back in January I received an order that was damaged - a container of creatine had split and spilled everywhere - and something was missing too. I reported it the next day with photos. Since live chat doesn't exist anymore, I had to use their web form. I'm guessing management cut the live chat team to pad their profits. I got an automated confirmation but then nothing for two weeks. So I submitted another report with photos again. Finally someone responded asking for more details. I sent it all back with pictures, making this my third report. Then I got a response from Mighty

Honestly I'd give zero stars if I could. They kept charging me for a subscription month after month. When I tried to cancel, the site insisted I didn't even have an active subscription, and the mobile app agreed - but apparently I was still getting billed. They won't refund anything because of their terms and conditions, which I supposedly should've memorized. Their rep Chiseled Charles was useless - just sent cookie cutter copy paste messages instead of actually helping. I had to do a chargeback with my bank to recover my money since this company refuses to engage. Stay away. The app is terrible anyway and there are tons of better free alternatives out there with way more useful content.

Terrible experience. Don't get suckered into the bodyFit app subscription. At some point it just stops working and won't let you sign in, throwing errors at you left and right. Customer support is worthless - you just get automated emails that don't solve anything. Use the free trial period if you want but cancel right away!!!

Ordered protein powder from their UK site not realizing it ships from America. Still seemed reasonable with import duties included. Turns out Bodybuilding.com doesn't disclose that tons of their stuff can't get through customs and just gets sent back. But they're totally fine keeping your money while the order sits in customs limbo. Even better, they won't refund you until their terrible shipping partner FedEx physically returns the package to them. My order's been stuck for days with zero progress and probably won't make it back stateside. Bodybuilding.com basically gets to hold your cash interest free while knowing the product will never arrive. Pretty clever scheme where they still get paid without actually delivering anything. Bottom line: only order if you're paying with a credit card so you can dispute the charge and deal with their lackluster customer service and questionable business practices.

The customer service experience I had was fantastic. I placed an order and it shipped out the next day. But then my FedEx tracking showed the package sitting at a distribution point for four or five days without moving. I contacted support and they said it was probably lost or damaged in transit. They offered me either a free replacement shipment or a full refund no questions asked. I chose the replacement since I love the product. They shipped it right out. Amazingly, my original package showed up the very next day. I reached out to let them know and told them I'd send the replacement back since I had the original. They were super nice about it and said I could just keep both, then asked if there was anything else they could help with. Really great experience.

These guys went above and beyond for me. I ordered some masks and they never showed up. When I reached out to support, they got back to me quickly. I thought for sure I'd have to repurchase or eat shipping costs, but they just resent everything at no charge. Ian and the whole team were genuinely friendly and helpful. Really impressed.

I want to say how grateful I am for the exceptional customer service I received from Bodybuilding.com's Mighty Millie. I was trying to order three cases of Amino Energy Plus Electrolytes Hydration Drink in watermelon but the website would only let me purchase one case at a time with no explanation. When I called to get help, Mighty Millie and her supervisor dug into the issue and couldn't figure out why the quantity restriction was there. Rather than give up, Mighty Millie went the extra mile. Since I'd already spent so much time trying to resolve this, she made it right by giving me a discount through a gift card. This is the kind of representative every company should have. She's knowledgeable, warm, patient and genuinely wants to solve your problems. I'd definitely recommend this company for their outstanding support team.
