Botched service and horrific customer service

Our local store serviced our rifle and we did not ask for it. We wanted it sited. The management laughed it off and the associates were unbelievably rude. The various employeeswe dealt with were extremely rude, coming from an owner of various retail stores. I am going to cancel my Cabela’s account and encourage all to do the same. This is a corporate chain that gives no focused service on one customer. We are all just a transaction now. I won’t ever shop them again. Give your money to any other business at this point.

I applied in Cabela

I applied in Cabela, La vista and went several interview. Final interview was the DM and HR. Every time I looked with my application always showed in process. I reached out with Cabela's recruiter and said still not reached the decision but got a positive feedback. I waited four weeks and got an email that I didn't get the job. I was disappointed and upset. They should tell me in advance rather than expecting something good. I don't think that company give consideration or value the applicant.

Would rate negative if possible

Would rate negative if possible. I ordered an air rifle as a Christmas gift for my grandson along with a target set, extra pellets and an extra 10 shot magazine clip. I received a completely different air rifle which will not even accept the magazine I ordered. Contacted Cabela Bass Pro Shop in Dartmouth NS immediately without even taking the rifle out of the box and explained that they sent the wrong rifle as is obvious from the magazine I also ordered. They flat out refused to even consider helping me correct the situation in any way. Just a flat no even though they did not send me any appropriate confirmation or anything I could verify even that the order was correct. Terrible company to deal with I would avoid I now have a rifle which is not what I wanted with a magazine that is useless.

My package arrived in a snow bank at…

My package arrived in a snow bank at the end of my freshly plowed driveway. The item was left at the road approximatley 3/4 of a mile from my house. The package was not in a box just in its original packaging( ok i will eat that one) but not the fact that it was a very expensive crossbow that was a xmas gift for my son which of course he found when he got home(luckily) . But it ruined the xmas surprise. Who leaves a package where the garbage goes????? Just disgusted with the order, who knows if it damaged i refuse to open it the box was wet and slighly damaged but he saw it so i guess theres no going back now.

After the web conversion all of my orders with Cabelas are gone. This is absolutely insane. I have been a project lead on such system changeovers and it would take very little effort and $ to have transferred orders over to the Basspro web site. Insane!!!!!

Ever since Bass Pro bought Cabela`s it.

Ever since Bass Pro bought Cabela`s it has went down hill there where very few scope rings on the hooks, and scope stock was low and I would say half of the sales people I came in contact with were miserable when you could find one and the prices are nothing special.

I recently visited Cabela's gun store…

I recently visited Cabela's gun store and the sales representative was more interested in asking if I wanted a credit card to save 20 dollars. My brother and i both said yes and they took our information and said the machine wasn't working. We didn't get 20 off and then i received a letter saying I wasn't approved. This seems like a scam to me.

Got a email on sale items from cabelas....ordered ...paid.Now they say out of stock...now have to wait days for a refund....also customer service couldn't speak English very well.

Ordered online for in-store pickup

Ordered online for in-store pickup. Item was in-stock and I ordered it. Went in the next day and was told it couldnt be pulled from the store inventory because they only had 1 of the items. Have to wait a week now for it to arrive and cant do a return to buy else where and customer service was literally no help. Looks like scheels from now on
