Call of Duty Reviews
Call of Duty is rated 2.2 out of 5 by 17 shoppers, with the vast majority expressing significant dissatisfaction. Reviewers report widespread technical and gameplay issues including broken game mechanics (such as the stim shot system), matchmaking problems, frequent disconnections in ranked play, and unfair competitive advantages from weapon exploits. Players also criticize map design, graphics quality, and what they describe as excessive penalties and ban systems that frustrate the gameplay experience.
A small minority of reviewers gave positive ratings, though these voices are heavily outweighed by negative feedback. Common complaints center on the game becoming progressively worse with each update, with some players suggesting older Call of Duty titles were superior. Reviewers warn potential players away from ranked modes and express frustration with the overall direction of the franchise, citing better alternatives available in the gaming market.
Had a real chance to clutch a 1v4 in the storm but the stim shot completely failed me. My health never recovered and it didn't slow down the damage either. Either fix the stim shot mechanic or you're losing players like me.
Used to be decent but now it's absolutely terrible. You get penalized for practically anything, the matchmaking is broken, maps are awful and nothing feels authentic. Someone must have taken over but this is legitimately trash, the graphics look terrible and aren't convincing, how many times will that same vehicle explode, yet someone can crouch behind some plants and survive somehow. Hands down the worst title available and I hope the company fails.
This game is an absolute disaster and keeps getting worse every single week. They should go back and remaster the original Black Ops games because those would blow this mess out of the water. Even Black Ops 6, which was pretty bad, is way better than this. Seriously needs improvement. Zero stars. So incredibly boring.
Stay away from ranked play because you'll constantly get kicked and lose rating points, plus you get banned when you want to play. Trying to resolve the issues is basically impossible so don't waste your money or time on this.
Played with some buddies for a while and just got destroyed by someone using an lc10 shooting through walls. If you're just starting out, honestly I'd suggest uninstalling and throwing your system away because it'd probably be better for your mental health. I seriously had a panic attack after getting sniped in the head from across the map. Needed to talk to someone afterward.
Extremely poor experience since I keep getting eliminated and yeah it's awful when you're constantly dying and other people don't have jobs so they're playing constantly while I'm not great at it so I keep getting killed and frankly there are way better options out there.
Really bad because I keep getting eliminated and yeah it's just terrible when you're constantly dying in matches and other people don't have work so they're grinding all day while I'm struggling and keep getting killed and honestly other games are way better.
The game feels cheap and lost the polish that the previous version had like they cut funding or something. The audio design is really bad, while the earlier version had better sound quality overall but the biggest problem is every kid uses bot assistance now and makes matches unplayable. If you're not letting the bots play for you then you basically can't win or even have a normal round. It's gotten so bad I'm switching over without even hesitating. Honestly considering their competition instead now.
Honestly this is the worst game I've ever forced myself to keep playing. I can't even make jokes with my friends without getting a chat suspension from some overzealous moderators. This thing is terrible. I was just doing a funny voice with my squad having a good time and the losing team reported me and now I've got another two week chat ban. This is the dumbest experience I've ever downloaded. On top of that the anti cheat system barely works at all. The game is absolutely flooded with hackers and absolutely nothing is done about it.
Loved playing COD but there's nothing fun left in it, especially the Black Ops 6 version which is completely disappointing. The level design is terrible and way too cramped, plus there's constantly cheaters everywhere and Activision refuses to actually address it. Not giving this any more of my money.
I used to really enjoy playing COD but now the cheating problem is completely out of control. You can't have any fun anymore because of how many hackers are in every match. COD has definitely lost tons of players because of this cheating epidemic. The hacking issue makes this genuinely the worst gaming experience out there.
Black ops 6 is seriously broken. The game has zero structure and feels worse than most other titles. At least other games are actually fun to play. This one makes no sense at all. You'll shoot someone multiple times in the legs and they're somehow still sprinting around and jumping everywhere. Land a headshot and you just get hit markers. The spawn system is terrible, dropping you right in front of enemies while they appear behind you. People are running around with baseball bats one-shotting you after you've emptied magazines into them. Bullets feel like they barely do anything. Call of duty keeps getting worse and their own ratings prove it.
Favorite online shooter and I jump on it every single day. Seriously appreciate how much fun this game gives me and the team behind it.
Call of duty is definitely the best shooting game out there and I've only been playing for two months and it's already superior to every other shooter I've tried and I've played tons of them so I would really really recommend giving call of duty a shot.
Call of Duty stands out as one of the greatest shooting games available with outstanding graphics, weapon variety and multiplayer experiences that really anyone interested in shooters should experience. First person shooters can get frustrating but this one is approachable right away. Warzone dropped as a free title which paired perfectly with the main game. I got the latest release on my birthday and it's honestly been the greatest gift. Looking back, Call of Duty World War II remains my favorite in the franchise.
