Was looking for registration plate fastener covers to slow down corrosion. Found that the cheapest set of two cost £6.99. Since they don't offer multi-packs, wanting one in yellow and one in black meant purchasing two sets for £14. Then adding white for the rear? Another £7. These are basically two tiny plastic components with some screws that cost almost nothing to make. I went to a local car shop and found a pack of six with pairs of each color for only £2. It's not hard to see why so many people call them overpriced.

No wonder people think they charge ridiculous prices.

I purchased a home EV charger from them including installation service. After I confirmed my installation appointment and completed payment, they informed me it would actually take a month longer than expected. Very frustrating to be told this after paying in full.

Bought an EV home charger from them with installation included. I picked my installation date, paid the full amount, and then found out I'd need to wait another month before they could actually come install it. Not happy about this delay after already paying.

Just a truly terrible experience overall. I'd skip this place and check out other options instead, even if you're not super confident about cars or bikes.

Jackson M working at the Stockport branch was a huge help finding the right tools I needed for changing my car battery. He's truly a valuable member of that team. That said, their customer support hotline was pretty bad. I called to find out how to leave positive feedback for Jackson and the person asked me if I was calling the right company. I was on their own customer service line! The store team is fantastic, but the phone support needs serious improvement.

On the flip side, calling their customer service was a nightmare. I wanted to give positive feedback about Jackson and when I reached out to their help line, they questioned whether I was even calling the right company! The store staff were great but the phone support was terrible.

Sasha and Danial at the Tottenham Hale store were incredibly kind and helpful when I shopped with them. I grabbed something from them but ran into trouble getting it set up, so I came back to the store. They tried their hardest to make it work, but turned out the product wasn't quite right. They gave me my money back without any issues, and while I was getting my card, they even helped fix a problem I was having with my bike at no charge to them. It's nice to see people who genuinely care. Really grateful for these two!

Got two rear tires put on at the York Road Leeds store today. Everything went smoothly from beginning to end with no problems whatsoever! Can't recommend this place enough. Thanks!

Jahid working at the Halifax location was fantastic. I needed front wipers installed and paid for the fitting service. Once they started, the recommended wipers turned out to be the wrong fit for my car and weren't in stock. Adding to the hassle, I didn't bring my debit card, so getting a refund meant coming back another time. Jahid was resourceful and suggested other places nearby where I could source the right wipers. After my quick run out, I came back and asked if he could help me install the ones I found. Jahid stepped up and had them fitted in about a minute when it would've taken me much longer. He didn't have to do any of this, but given the situation and my having to make another trip with my card anyway, it was a really kind move. Jahid showed so much patience and gave fantastic service. I hope someone passes this along. Much appreciated.

They discovered the recommended wipers weren't compatible with my vehicle, and they didn't have the correct ones available. To make things trickier, I'd left my payment card at home, meaning I'd need to come back for a refund. Jahid suggested some local places that could help me find wipers nearby, so I made a quick trip and found some. I returned to ask Jahid about fitting them since the other shop couldn't do that work. Without hesitation, he swapped them on for me in about a minute, which would've taken me way longer to figure out. He really didn't owe me this favor, but with everything that happened and having to make a return trip anyway, it felt wonderful. Jahid was patient, kind, and truly went the extra step. Got assistance from Ali at the Ashton Under Lyne location when I had battery trouble. He delivered expert advice and really knew his stuff about the products and warranty details. He took time to walk me through the whole process step by step. I couldn't ask for better service. Ali is someone I'd recommend and the whole branch is worth visiting just for the quality of help you get.

Visited the Crossley branch in Kidderminster to get a winter safety check on my car. Right from the start, Kris was courteous and helpful, pointing out that a Halfords membership would cover the check at no charge. Perfect timing since I had the membership, so I saved money and used it toward car mats I'd been needing. Next, Kallum completed the actual check, first asking if I had any specific worries about the vehicle. He completed the full inspection and everything looked good. Now I feel much more confident about the road trip I've got planned. Both team members kept me updated throughout and were really accommodating. A big thank you to Kris and Kallum for delivering such good service.
