The Olive Branch location really needs to invest in customer service training for their staff. I've shopped there for years, and on a Thursday in February, I picked up a gift card along with my groceries. When I reached my car and looked for it to put away, it was missing. I went back to ask the cashier if she had it, thinking maybe she forgot to bag it. She claimed she'd left it on the counter by the credit card machine - something she should have mentioned before! When I spoke with the manager about it, his response was completely dismissive. He showed zero empathy and basically told me he couldn't help. His entire demeanor said 'that's your problem and I don't care.' Employees should always inform customers when items aren't being bagged normally. I won't be returning to this store.

When I called customer service at 4 o'clock, the status still hadn't updated. The representative eventually told me they'd looked into it with the delivery team and couldn't locate my order, so they issued a refund that would take 2 to 4 business days plus a $20 credit. The representative was kind, but it doesn't solve my immediate problem - I still don't have groceries, and I certainly don't have extra money to try another service. Given the weather forecast, it's not realistic to expect delivery today or anytime soon. This whole situation was frustrating and left me without food when I needed it most.

In our small Arizona community, we shop at Fry's, which represents Kroger. While Fry's is pricey too, they're competitive compared to other stores nearby. What really sets them apart is their excellent staff - even the customer service team members always show patience and helpfulness despite being busy. I want to mention Big K sodas specifically, because their prices have actually gone down while other brands keep climbing. Big K now costs less than the same products at Walmart, which have gone up dramatically. Their sugar-free options taste fantastic too. For those of us who enjoy soft drinks, Big K is my brand of choice and something I'd recommend to others.
