LostGolfBalls.com draws sharply divided opinions from shoppers, with ratings split between satisfied and dissatisfied customers. Positive reviewers praise the competitive pricing on name-brand balls like Titleist Pro V1s and TP5x models, fast shipping, and responsive customer service when issues arise. The selection of brands and quality tiers appeals to budget-conscious golfers. However, recurring complaints center on quality control and fulfillment problems: customers report receiving fewer balls than ordered, condition mismatches (balls advertised as like-new arriving with significant wear), counterfeit or mismatched coverings, extended shipping delays, and unhelpful customer support when problems occur. Several long-time customers express disappointment that quality has declined in recent orders.

The core issue appears to be inconsistency. While some shipments arrive in excellent condition and impress buyers, others fall short of advertised standards, leaving shoppers frustrated particularly when they have paid for premium conditions. Return processes exist but feel transactional rather than service-oriented to some reviewers. Buyers considering this retailer should manage expectations around condition grades and review individual product listings carefully.

Ordered a dozen golf balls and they only sent me nine.

Marcus T.Nov 24, 2025

Grabbed 96 TP5x balls for around $155 and honestly didn't expect much at that price point. Most of them looked pretty good when they arrived with barely any blemishes, so I wasn't complaining. But then I got curious and sliced open about 10 of them to investigate. Every single one had a TP5x core inside, but here's the thing - the outer coverings looked different from each other. I compared them to some brand new TP5x I bought separately and cut those open too. Same cores, yeah, but the shells were clearly not original. When you actually play with them, they perform like TP5x mostly, but they're really fragile. Hit them against a tree, cart path, or branches and they'll crack up and fall apart on you.

I was all set to pull the trigger on five dozen TP5x balls at twenty-four bucks a dozen for over one hundred bucks total. Not happening anymore. I got five dozen Tour Response Stripe previously and decided to scrap the whole plan after reading about all the other people having the same issues. My last shipment dragged on for two weeks or more, and half the balls weren't actually mint condition. Look, I know you don't get something for nothing, but these are probably all salvaged from murky Florida water, and once golf balls sit underwater for days they degrade. I've noticed inconsistency in my blue striped Tour Responses too - some feel hard and clunky. It's frustrating when you think about the cash spent on drivers and putters. So I'm going back to buying brand new direct from the manufacturers. Pulled back from almost spending another hundred dollars and I'm glad. Fresh balls straight from Taylor Made or Titleist with custom stamps sound way better. Done with used balls for real this time.

I've been a loyal customer for years and used to be happy with my purchases. Unfortunately my last two orders have been way below standards. Nothing came close to the quality they advertised and the support team wasn't much help either. They sent the wrong type of golf balls, didn't apologize, just emailed me a return label. Not interested in ordering from them anymore. Really disappointing.

David M.Jul 30, 2025

Got a box of Titleist Pro V1s delivered to my door, and I was impressed with the pricing. The shipping speed was fantastic too. When I tore open the packaging, I was really happy with what I found inside - these balls looked like they'd never been touched, with zero dings or wear on them.

Christopher M.Jul 13, 2025

I've been working with Lostgolfballs for quite a while and have picked up plenty of balls from them. If you're thinking about exploring used golf balls, I'd definitely recommend giving this place a shot. You get to choose from tons of brands and different quality levels depending on what you want. They're really responsive whenever problems come up with orders too.

James C.Jun 17, 2025

I ordered five dozen Titleist Pro V1x marked as Mint condition. Thanks for processing my order, but I've got to be honest - I'm really disappointed. Too many of these balls came with scuffs, stains, and discoloration. Out of the 60 balls, roughly half of them are nowhere close to what Mint should look like. I've bought Mint condition balls from another company in the past and they were pure white with zero marks. This order doesn't compare. Earlier last week I got some PXG balls that were in much nicer shape with only a couple scratches, and those were fine. These Titleist balls though? Pretty frustrated with the quality.

Hassan R.May 31, 2025

Paid for new balls but ended up with used ones instead. I ordered what they label as 5A Mint, which should be older stock that's never been used. These people are running a scam and their whole discount business model to sell new balls at used prices is misleading. Don't trust their marketing.

Walter G.Apr 30, 2025

Stay away from this company. I'm serious. Picked up some Titleist balls and the rubber coating started peeling and fraying up. Can't use them in actual matches because they're unplayable. They sent me a replacement batch but same problem. Won't back up their product. Look at the other complaints out there and you'll see this business is heading downhill. Skip them and keep your cash.

I'm obsessed with Lostgolfballs.com and tell all my friends they're throwing money away buying new dozen-packs for fifty bucks at golf shops. I always go with the near mint option and every ball looks and feels fresh out of the box. So what if you spot a random company name or a line around the number now and then? These look and play like brand new stuff. Plus the free shipping when you spend over eighty-nine dollars is awesome. My golf crew and we all chip in together to buy bulk, then we do this hilarious draft where everyone picks their own set of balls for the year. Seriously, go order from these guys right now!

Anthony R.Mar 6, 2025

Ordered a 48 count bucket of 5A Pro V1 and it showed up after just two days. Really happy with this purchase - out of all those balls, probably only three had any scratches or marks worth mentioning. Definitely ordering from them again when I need more.

Jennifer P.Sep 16, 2024

I bought 96 Callaway Chrome Soft X balls in mint condition and the quality was solid. Getting them took about 2 weeks, which wasn't ideal, but once they arrived I was pleased with what I got. Works out to less than two bucks per ball.

Richard V.Aug 26, 2024

The listing said Mint, and the pictures of the ProV1s looked flawless. I paid for 50 balls and a bunch of them showed up with cuts and cracks. Pretty disappointing product. Then when I reached out about it, the company tried blaming the marketplace seller. I sent them images and details about my order, and instead of handling it, they basically pushed the issue over to the online retailer. I'd say 30 to 50 percent of my order was basically junk. These balls had damage right in the cover itself. Wondering if they just rebrand and repaint different brand balls then stamp them with another name.

Charles W.Aug 7, 2024

I've been playing golf for decades and know how to spot condition differences. I wanted to compare what Pristine and Mint level balls would be like, so I tried both. Honestly, there's nothing different between them. If you're thinking about upgrading, save the two bucks.

Robert K.Jul 30, 2024

My order sat for almost two weeks before shipping out. The company mentioned dealing with a storm in their region, which I get. But then after that delay, I got another email saying two of the ball models I wanted weren't available anymore, despite the site showing they had them in stock. They offered substitutes instead. I'm probably not going to place another order here.
