Mopar Savings Hacks

Stack Bulk Orders with Seasonal Codes

Stock up on maintenance items like filters, fluids, and belts during promotional periods to maximize savings across a larger purchase. Mopar often runs deals aligned with vehicle maintenance seasons.

Check for Fleet or Business Discounts

If you manage multiple vehicles or operate a small business, ask Mopar about contractor or fleet pricing options that may apply alongside standard coupon codes.

Compare OEM vs. Aftermarket Alternatives

Before applying a coupon, compare the final price of genuine Mopar parts with quality aftermarket options to ensure you are getting the best overall value for your needs.

Review Return Policies Before Bulk Purchases

Large orders should be placed only after checking Mopar's return and warranty terms so you can return defective or incorrect parts without hassle if needed.

Mopar Shipping Policy

Shipping costs and delivery times at Mopar depend on your order size, location, and shipping method selected at checkout. Check Mopar.com for current shipping policies and estimated delivery timeframes before completing your purchase. Many auto parts retailers offer ground shipping, though expedited options may be available for urgent orders.

Mopar Returns & Refund Policy

Most auto parts can be returned if they are defective or incorrect, but Mopar may have specific windows and conditions for returns. Before ordering, review Mopar's return policy on their website or contact their customer service to confirm eligibility, restocking fees, and any warranty coverage that applies to your parts.

Mopar is rated 1.1 out of 5 by 21 shoppers, with the vast majority reporting serious issues across ordering, customer service, and product accuracy. Common complaints include order cancellations without explanation, non-functional parts that don't match vehicle specifications despite VIN entry, extended delivery delays, unhelpful return policies, unresponsiveness to customer inquiries, unsolicited contact practices, and warranty coverage disputes. A small number of shoppers noted that the company has honored refunds when contacted directly, suggesting some willingness to resolve issues, though this appears inconsistent across customer experiences.

The overwhelming pattern in reviews reflects frustration with communication breakdowns, system errors in parts matching, and what several shoppers describe as untrustworthy business practices. Multiple reviewers report being unable to reach customer support, facing refusal on returns despite product defects or incompatibility, and encountering warranty claims that were either denied or not honored as promised. The few positive interactions mentioned involved eventual refunds after escalation, but even these came after significant customer effort and delays.

Got a 2025 Ram in June and when I took it in for its first maintenance, the service team told me there's a recall. Nobody had bothered to notify me about it beforehand. The dealership ordered the part but said it would be two weeks. Three weeks passes and I called asking what's going on - now they're saying 45 days minimum. Tried calling the parts department directly and after being on hold, they just told me to leave a voicemail. The recall is for the towing module that controls trailer brake lights and power. Pretty important considering I'm towing a travel trailer behind mine! The customer service is lacking, the dealership didn't know what they were doing, and there's a real safety problem here. Why weren't customers notified if they initiated a mandatory recall?

Placed my order on March 2nd. Two weeks went by and I heard absolutely nothing - no shipping notification, no email updates, nothing at all. I tried reaching out through email multiple times before finally getting word that my order was cancelled. Never got any reason why. The whole experience was really frustrating with terrible communication and no real customer service to speak of.

Update: Went to the dealer and they said it wasn't a perfect fit and didn't look right. Contacted the store and they sent me a return label and refunded the full amount. Turns out it might have been a shelf item that sat too long but they honored it which was good. It's a legit business not a scam so bumping up from one to three stars. Ended up getting the correct part at the dealership instead for just under 50 bucks more. The seat heater they shipped was held together with tape, had corrosion on the connector, and looked like a scam. Really wish I'd checked reviews first instead of just doing a quick search. This place shouldn't be allowed to operate.

I entered my VIN number thinking I'd get the right components for my vehicle. Turned out what they sent me didn't work or match what the manufacturer put on my car originally. When I tried to return it, they refused and wouldn't even consider my request for an exception. Lost $125 because their system gave me wrong info and their support wasn't helpful. Would recommend shopping elsewhere.

I never gave Mopar my contact info but they somehow got my email and started spamming me anyway. They must have scraped it from somewhere. Nothing screams untrustworthiness like that.

This is the biggest scam out there. Don't touch their warranty plans. Not only will you get zero coverage, you'll just lose your money. They promise lifetime coverage but that's a flat out lie. I paid almost four grand for a lifetime transferable contract on my 2015 Wrangler. Now in 2025 I'm asking about engine coverage and they won't even pick up the phone. They keep denying my contract exists. Worst experience ever. They're straight up scammers.

The absolute worst. My Jeep is sitting at the dealership for over a week but my warranty covers a rental car. Mopar gave me a case number and said someone would call me back. Never happened. I'm calling multiple times a day and each rep either promises a callback or says they'll transfer me to case management, puts me on hold, then just hangs up. I'm telling everyone I know not to buy a Jeep because of this experience.

The account creation feature on this site doesn't function properly and pretty much renders the whole thing useless.

Don't contact this company. I have never dealt with such irresponsible and dishonest business practices anywhere. One star is too generous. Sent my car in on February 11th for repairs. Didn't pick it up until March 18th and the car still wasn't fixed. It was a simple job - they just needed to replace the ABS modem. I had scanned the car myself before dropping it off and told them exactly what the problem was so ordering and installing the part should have been straightforward. They called me on March 17th claiming the work was done. Suddenly there's another issue - suspension springs and the modem. I said that wasn't showing on my scan. I arrived March 18th to check on the ABS modem replacement and found nothing had been touched. Complete lies, second time they misled me. I'm done with them.

Would give zero stars if I could. We placed an order on January 14th and paid extra for overnight delivery. It's now the morning of January 17th and still no part. Why advertise overnight shipping if you can't deliver it? I ordered late, so I figured they'd send it overnight starting the 15th, but nope. The tracking still shows USPS hasn't even received it yet. Hopefully they do the right thing and refund the overnight charge and just charge regular shipping since we paid more for expedited than we did for the actual item and only wanted it fast. I won't be ordering from them again.

Shipping took forever and there was no way to get in touch with anyone about it.

Steven C.Oct 10, 2024

Absolutely terrible service. I'd do anything to not be stuck with their system. Don't go near them unless you enjoy getting no answers and paying for repairs that their incompetence caused in the first place.

Marcus D.Aug 30, 2024

Ordered a part and got sent the wrong one. I waited until almost the last day of their 30-day return window to call and request a return label. Got a guy named Joe on the phone who's a RMA manager. This guy was absolutely unprofessional, refused to acknowledge any mistake on their part, and literally hung up on me after threatening to refuse my return altogether. I'd strongly advise staying away from this company. Shop somewhere else instead.

I got an Essential Care Plan from Mopar.com that includes two oil changes at dealerships. When I tried booking at a couple different dealerships, they wanted to charge me an extra $40 per oil change on top of the plan. I contacted Mopar about it and they said dealerships set their own rates and there's nothing they could do. I pointed out that I provided my VIN when buying the plan so they knew what vehicle it was, which is literally why they suggested that specific plan. Even though they sell it right on their website, they wouldn't make sure the price matched what I'd pay. That's poor service.

Patricia L.Jun 19, 2024

Mopar was completely unhelpful when dealing with the Jeep dealership where I kept taking my vehicle for the same repair problem. I had to use my extended warranty the second time the air conditioning blower failed within four months, which came with a higher deductible. Neither the dealership nor Mopar took any responsibility for the faulty part or the repeat failure.
