I have to say I'm not impressed with Naked Wines. I grabbed their black Friday special on a dozen reds and found that half of them weren't good quality at all, tasting either really flat or cheap, with that sharp astringent quality you get from young wines that aren't ready to drink. While the box itself was a great price, I didn't notice they'd automatically signed me up for their Angel membership in the fine print, charging me a monthly fee that can't be refunded. My bad for not reading everything carefully, but it's a sneaky practice. After they took out a couple of payments, I cancelled, but now if I want to buy more, I'm looking at spending around eighty bucks for six bottles at their discounted rate. You can honestly find better wine for less at your local grocery store. That black Friday special turned out to be more of a trick than a real bargain.

Total waste of money with this place. I'd stopped drinking wine for a while so I suspended my membership, but when I decided to use my balance I called them. The guy on the phone was nice enough, but even though I specifically said no cabs and no sweet wines, they sent me four hundred dollars worth of cabernets and sweet wines. Absolutely disgusting. Don't bother with this company.
