Paper Culture Savings Hacks

Check for seasonal sales before using codes

Paper Culture often runs clearance or holiday sales that may offer deeper savings than promo codes. Compare the discount from a code against active seasonal sales to ensure you get the best price.

Sign up for the email newsletter

Buy in bulk for greater savings

Many paper and office supply companies offer volume discounts on larger orders. Check if Paper Culture has tiered pricing for bulk purchases, which combined with a promo code can maximize your savings.

Track offer rotation at RetailCoupons.com

Paper Culture Shipping Policy

Shipping costs and delivery times for office and party supplies depend on order size, destination, and the service level you select at checkout. Review the shipping options available before finalizing your purchase, and note that standard shipping may take longer for customized items. Contact Paper Culture directly for details on expedited shipping or any current free shipping promotions.

Paper Culture Returns & Refund Policy

Paper Culture should provide a returns or satisfaction policy for items that arrive damaged or do not meet your expectations. Review the store's return instructions and any applicable windows or conditions before placing your order. Contact their customer service team if you need to initiate a return or exchange.

Paper Culture is rated 1.7 out of 5 by 14 shoppers, with the vast majority expressing serious dissatisfaction. Reviewers report widespread delivery failures, with some customers stating that holiday cards never reached recipients across the country. Additional complaints center on missed promised shipping dates, poor communication from customer service (including unresponsiveness to voicemails and emails), and design editing limitations that frustrate repeat customers. The few positive aspects mentioned include free address envelope printing and a pre-populated address system for returning customers, yet these conveniences do not offset the operational and service failures.

The most damaging pattern in reviews involves unmet delivery promises during time-sensitive holiday seasons and a lack of responsive customer support when problems occur. Customers report multiple unanswered voicemails, weeks of silence on urgent emails (including one involving potential fraud), and interactions with support staff described as robotic or unhelpful. While some shoppers indicate they have ordered from Paper Culture multiple times, they express frustration with inconsistent performance rather than satisfaction.

Not a single recipient anywhere in the country got the holiday cards we sent through their direct mail service. We have people scattered all over and not one person received anything.

Jennifer B.Dec 22, 2025

I placed my holiday card order on 12/11 and skipped the proof so they'd arrive by 12/15, which was the date they promised when I ordered. It's now 12/22 and my package is lost somewhere in the USPS system they use. I've left 5 voicemails and filled out their online form and still nobody has reached out. Don't bother with them. They're cheap for a reason.

Their customer service is really bad. They clearly don't know how to fix mistakes once they happen. Even talking to a manager felt like I was dealing with a robot instead of a real person.

Rachel M.Dec 11, 2025

I keep coming back to this company mainly because all my recipient addresses are already in their system and they'll address envelopes for free. That said, this place is incredibly frustrating. Unlike other photo card companies, you can't edit your own design unless you want to lose your free edits. Every single year, no matter how clear my instructions are, their so-called professional edits come back wrong. Once you use up those two free edits, they want to charge you $20 for any additional changes. On top of that, they now automatically charge extra for special fonts on envelopes unless you dig through a pop-up menu and uncheck it at the very bottom. The whole thing feels designed to squeeze extra money out of you.

I've ordered Christmas cards from Paper Culture before and they used to show up on time. Last year I ordered late November and didn't get them until December 24th. They changed the ship date four different times. Customer service is basically nonexistent either. I emailed and called multiple times with no real response until I tagged their CEO on social media. Just do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Jessica K.Aug 24, 2025

I got an email saying I'd placed an order, which I definitely didn't. I emailed back asking if there was an account order and requested the last four digits of any card on file to verify if someone fraudulently used my information. They've been completely silent for two weeks now even after I sent two follow-up emails and mentioned potential legal action. This company's nonexistent customer service makes them a complete fraud. Avoid them at all costs.

I originally chose Paper Culture because of their recycled paper and tree planting initiative, but I was let down by the print quality. The colors looked really faded on everything, which I get is how non-gloss paper works, but the photos didn't match the original colors at all. Also, my package wasn't marked to prevent bending, so the mail carrier just creased my 8x10 prints when shoving them in my mailbox. They should mark their packaging better. Good mission, but I don't think I'd order again. UPDATE: Paper Culture actually reached out and sent me a reprint. The quality is much better this time and the colors are way more accurate. The print still has that softer look from the paper type, but it looks much more like my original photos now. I'm willing to give them another shot.

Even though I paid for expedited shipping, they took over a week just to create a shipping label. The whole thing took 10 days before it even left their facility. Absolutely terrible.

Brian K.Dec 13, 2024

The status said preparing to ship for four days straight, so I figured it would go out by the promised date. Then they delayed it and I tried calling customer support. All I got was voicemail. The only other way to reach them is through their website contact form, but they take forever to respond, usually more than 48 hours. When I finally got an email back, I asked to cancel. A couple hours later they showed it as shipped, but really they just created a label. The customer support is basically nonexistent and their shipping is totally unreliable. I used to order from them all the time but that's done now.

David R.Dec 11, 2024

I've been ordering Christmas cards and invitations from Paper Culture for the last 6 years, but this year has been a nightmare. They keep pushing back the ship date on my Christmas cards and it's happened four times in just one week. Trying to actually talk to someone is impossible because nobody picks up their phone. At this point I'm seriously considering disputing the charge with my credit card since that might be the only way to get my money back.

I absolutely love Paper Culture and was really shocked to see so many negative reviews! I've ordered from them every year for holiday cards, birth announcements, and more. I originally found them because I wanted something eco-friendly that wouldn't empty my wallet, and I've always been really happy with the finished product.

Marcus T.Nov 27, 2022

Their website had some glitchy issues with saving, and I spent over 2 hours helping them figure out what was wrong. After all that work, they basically asked me to trust them with my holiday cards without being able to see the final product myself. The only thing they threw at me for wasting my time was a measly $20 discount. Really poor way to treat customers.

Michael H.Dec 15, 2021

I ordered cards for our family and two business accounts. They told us the shipment was coming 12/6, then 12/7, then went silent for days. When we finally heard back, they said 12/15 or 12/16 at the latest. Now it's 12/23 and we're being told they won't arrive until Christmas Eve or maybe after. We have no holiday cards or business cards now. The reps gave us a halfhearted sorry and basically showed no real concern. Definitely skip this company.

Patricia L.Dec 29, 2020

I ordered return address labels as a test before making a bigger order. The labels were disappointing and way too expensive for what I got. They came printed on a sheet with labels that were oversized and had too much wasted space. They should've used a smaller label size. I can't even use them, so I'm finding another vendor instead.
