NEVER AGAIN!!!

My daughter wanted to do something special for y birthday this year. Got her father involved in buying me some flowers. She placed the order on 3/16 to be delivered on 3/20. The day came and gone, email said delivered and I had no flowers. I have a porch camera and live in a nice area. the flowers were never delivered. They contacted the company and had them sent again, and again said it was delivered and I had no flowers. I finally got on the phone and spoke with customer service. The lady said she would contact the local florist that is fulfilling the order and find out what was going on before having a replacement sent. The next comes around and no call, no flowers again! So I call them again and at this point they were telling me that for a third time the flowers had been delivered and hadn't. That they, as the intermediary, could not contact the florist to find out where my flowers were going and would not give me the information to contact them either, so i demanded to speak to a supervisor! When she finally got on the phone, she said that the florist does not deliver to my address! How does that even compute?! Three times they said they were delivered and three times I hadnt recieved them. The supervisor also informed me that there were no other local companies! I live in the Capital Region! How are there no other companies to fulfill my order?! She ended up upgrading my bouquet and sending along a dozen chocolate covered strawberrries, but they came from CT, took 2 days to get here! Was promised 3/27 delivery and I didnt receive them until 3/28! A week and a half it took for me to get the flowers, and the bouquet was the saddest thing i ever saw. 4 roses, 3 carnations and "fluff" flowers! I made the best of the situation and added some of y own roses to the bouquet but I will never order from them or recommend them to anyone!

The only reason I'm giving two stars

I ordered the Winter Wishes bouquet as a gift for a close friend, paying $75 before delivery fees. The product photos showed white mums, white roses, blue accent flowers, and fresh greenery — what actually arrived looked nothing like that. Instead, my friend received white carnations, a single pink rose that had been painted blue, dried-out evergreen branches, and burnt pinecones. The vase was the only thing that matched the listing. I was genuinely mortified when my friend sent me pictures of what showed up at her door.

I am extremely disappointed with…

I am extremely disappointed with 1-800-Flowers. I placed my order three days in advance for my mother’s birthday, thinking that would be more than enough time to ensure a smooth delivery. I was told the arrangement would be handled by a local florist, which gave me some reassurance—but that didn’t turn out to mean much.The tracking stayed stuck on “confirmed” the entire day with no updates, leaving me completely in the dark. It’s incredibly stressful not knowing if something as important as a birthday delivery will even arrive on time.On top of that, dealing with customer service only made things worse. I didn’t feel like I was getting clear answers or any real help, which added to the frustration.Overall, this has been a very stressful and disappointing experience. I would not recommend ordering from this company—save yourself the trouble and take your business somewhere else.

I had a very disappointing experience…

I had a very disappointing experience with 1-800-Flowers. I was told that my order was delivered at 8:00 a.m., but when my wife returned home at 12:30 p.m., there were no flowers anywhere. There is only one entrance to the building, so there was no possibility of a missed delivery.When I called, I was first routed to a virtual assistant that offered to resend the flowers, which was not acceptable. After speaking to a live agent, I was told the truth—the flowers were never delivered at all. So why were they marked as delivered in the first place?To make matters worse, I was told they could not redeliver until March 31st, even though the next business day was March 30th. That is completely unacceptable. When a company makes a mistake like this, there should be urgency to correct it immediately.My wife spent time looking for something that didn’t even exist, and the entire experience ruined the purpose of the gift. I requested a refund, and I would not trust this company for any important deliveries.

No regard for delivery dates

I ordered flowers for a special birthday because I couldn't be there in person. The website indicated delivery could be made on the date I selected. I received a text message indicating the flowers had been shipped the day before the event. When I didn't receive a delivery text by mid-day, I checked the status online. The home page indicated on-time delivery was expected. However, when I opened the detailed tracking it was clear the flowers were still in the original shipping destination and would not be delivered until the next day. This left my loved one feeling very unloved on her special day. A conversation with 1-800-Flowers led to an offer of refund of my shipping charge and a credit for a future purchase. As if I would ever make the mistake of ordering from this organization again.

Very disappointing experience

My order was not delivered on the scheduled day, despite the website clearly promising same-day delivery. What’s worse, I received conflicting emails; first saying the order was ready for delivery, and four minutes later claiming a delivery attempt was made, even though no one actually came.This isn’t the first time I’ve had this issue with this website. I experienced a similar problem a few years ago, and unfortunately, nothing has improved. I don’t know why I trusted them again.

I should have paid attention to the reviews

I should have paid attention to the reviews. While the order was processed timely (although I have not received feedback on the quality of the flowers), the card arrived damaged so the recipient couldn't see the sender or the message. Then when I contacted 1800Flowers to get the full message (as only a partial was copied on the card), they could only give me a partial message). I believe they were wrong on the character count and cut most of it off on the $6 greeting card I paid for so I could send a longer message. I highly recommend NOT using this company to send flowers.

We preordered flowers for a funeral 2…

We preordered flowers for a funeral 2 weeks in advance. We got an email stating they were going out on the day of the funeral. Their excuse was that the florist was supposed to cancel the order weeks ago. Never use them for anything.

Total disappointment

The floral arrangement delivered did not meet expectations and differed significantly from what was advertised on the website. The bouquet lacked volume, appeared sparse, and did not resemble the product image. While I understand that substitutions may sometimes be necessary, the final arrangement did not capture the overall look, feel, or character of the “Fields of Europe” design.The balloon that was supposed to be included with the order was missing entirely.The presentation was underwhelming and did not reflect the price paid. I had expected a much higher standard of quality and accuracy.
