Luther Henry at store #9682 is a rare…

Luther Henry at store #9682 is a rare gem, hard working and personable. I was taking my wife home from surgery and my battery light came on. I stopped at advance auto and Luther gave me a new battery ( mine was a few days out of warranty) and dead, Luther could have charged me but didn't ,said he wanted me to get my wife home safe. what a guy, at 81 i'm thankful people like Luther are still around. God bless Luther.'

NASTY Lakewood NJ branch

I went to the Lakewood NJ branch to get blades since there is a huge sign that they install the blades. The guy behind the desk was extremely nasty and barked at me that there was no one else in the store SO I CANNOT. When I asked him if blades are no less then $60 he said yes. Right near those there were blades for $30. Finally another 2 guys came in. When I asked one of them to help me he nastily replied "NOT IN THE RAIN" [It was lightly drizzling]. These guys are nasty and gave me a horrible start of my day!! A real disgrace. DO NOT USE THEM!

Bought a new battery

Bought a new battery, over $200, was bad in less than 6 months. Returned to the same store where purchased only to offered a 'new' battery warranty because even though I only had the battery 5 months, if I used the warranty it would be VOID. They would not refund the purchase so I could go else where. I took their old DEAD battery and used it for a core at Auto Zone, who by the way, HONORS their battery warranties!

Be careful before buying anything at the store in Manville, NJ. No warranty, no refund, no replacement, no store credit

The store should provide a new starter as a replacement for the old one on 02/09/2026 which does not work. There is a catch 22. The store can assess the old one and provide the new one by a warranty because the old one was installed 10 months ago. The store does not provide the new one without assessing the old one. But, mechanics do not exclude the old starter unless the new one is provided by the store. So, this trick is used by the store manager at 130 N Main St, Manville, NJ 08835, United States who does not provide a warranty replacement for the old starter. So, I had to purchase the new one and their online customer service said that the store should provide a store credit for the new one but the store manager in Manville, NJ would not like to return anything. Be careful, the store did provide no warranty, no any replacement by the new one, no refund, no store credit.So, the rating for the store is 0 of 5.In spite of it, I visited another NJ store, based on Customer Service’s advice, and they provided a full refund on 02/10/2026 and explained that the store manager at Manville, NJ did actions against the Advance Auto Parts’ rules.Because another NJ store fixed the issue by providing a refund, so I changed the rating from 0 to 5 for Advance Auto Parts

Advance Auto at 3741 Elm Rd NE, Warren, OH 44483

3741 Elm Rd NE, Warren, OH 44483 Said they couldn't give me an exchange on an injector because the solenoid shade looks different even though mine is the same shade of color on their picture. They are remanufactured and will sometimes reuse old solenoids even tho the part picture shows the older dark ones and not the new ones. I called around to see if I could find a store with the older solenoids, and the store out in 4801 Mahoning Ave, Youngstown, OH 44515 still has one of the black ones not yellow. Waiting for my case to be resolved so I can come back for an exchange once they figure out it is in fact their part. I've been having a lots of problems getting faulty injectors from Advanced Auto I've also been through 2 HPOPs within a year before from them and decided to go online and pay extra for an Adrenaline HPOP for my 7.3, and so far so good. I'm very busy trying to run a very successful business, and now I have no way of commuting until my case is resolved. Advanced Auto you have really let me down yet again, and did a frequent customer dirty. Never buying parts from Advanced Auto ever again!

Battery

Purchased a two hundred dollar die hard gold battery 9/25 battery failed 1/26 they would not replace so it was out of their 90 day warranty. Said a should've purchased their extended warranty. I have been a long time customer of advance auto but this was my last purchase.

Awesome customer service

The customer service I experanced today was over the top! Jose H of the 401 N Frederick Ave. Gaithersburg Advance Auto Store was awesome! I needed assistance with my battery and he jumped in and worked everything out. I appreciate incredible service and he really went above and beyond. I have always used Advance Auto and this is another reason I am a loyal customer...Thanks Josue!
