What Shoppers Say About Auto Accessories Garage
Auto Accessories Garage has earned a 1.2 rating from 24 shoppers, with the overwhelming majority leaving one-star reviews. Shoppers report receiving incorrect items, facing undisclosed 15 percent restocking fees not visible during checkout, experiencing severe shipping delays spanning weeks or months beyond promised dates, and encountering unresponsive or unhelpful customer service that denies previous commitments. Multiple reviewers describe feeling misled by the website's presentation and pricing, noting that hidden fees and return barriers make the initially attractive prices meaningless.
Additional complaints include wrong parts shipped for specific vehicle models, mandatory approval requirements for returns, and lack of shipping updates despite long wait times. Shoppers consistently recommend avoiding the company in favor of established retailers like Amazon or local automotive shops. The pattern of delays, wrong shipments, and opaque policies has created widespread distrust, with customers describing the experience as frustrating and comparing the business practices to those of con artists.

Sorted by: Most recentAbsolutely terrible to deal with. I ordered a tonneau cover and bed mat but the bed mat never showed up, and the tracking had problems from day one. Their support team did nothing until I contacted them multiple times. Now the package is marked lost and they say they need another week to figure it out. The tonneau cover also came damaged. When I contacted the manufacturer myself, they responded immediately and started helping me right away. This company is completely useless and doesn't stand behind what they sell. Stay far away.
Ordered an S&B cold air intake for my Jeep. When the UPS package arrived and I opened it, I found everything except the 3 cent fitting, and the fitting they did send didn't even work with their own product. I've got the whole system installed now but I'm missing the main air part. I'm really upset about this.
We were relocating and wanted to protect our catalytic converter on our 1999 Rav4. The part was labeled universal so we bought it and brought it to our mechanic. Turns out the clearance was too low to install it. We tried to return it but they said in the fine print that clearance is your responsibility, even though they marketed it as universal. They sent a shipping label but we were already packed up with no printer available. We asked for a pickup or a mailed label instead, but they refused. They offered to refund return shipping if we emailed them a USPS receipt, but then charged a 15 percent restocking fee and didn't honor the receipt anyway. Skip this company unless you want to spend over $75 making phone calls for a part that doesn't work.
Our landlord jacked up the rent so we had to relocate across the country. We wanted to protect our catalytic converter during the move so we got the Cat Clamp from this place. The listing said universal, which made sense. Our mechanic took one look and said it won't work on a Toyota Rav4. I tried to return it and they wanted me to print out a UPS label. My printer was already packed, so the phone guy said no problem, just go to USPS and they'll refund your shipping fee as a courtesy. Spoiler alert: they never did. And apparently the fine print says you need a 3 inch clearance on your vehicle. How would I know that about my car when it says universal right there on the listing? If a product says universal, I'm not going to assume it won't fit. Why wouldn't they just keep their word?
