Bealls offers zero grace period not even a day if they do not get your bill payment.Charges about $35. Late fee. Horrible! Thats me paying my bill in full thru my bank.

No other companies do that. Only gave them 2 stars because they credit the fee back to me. But I had to waste 10min. Of my precious time on the phone to del with this!

Bealls2/23/26–2:29p0189 05 11264940743Checkout experience I had chosen a 2 pc swim suit that someone obviously had taken off the hangar and put it back on by twisting the straps around the hangar. I removed it from the hangar so I could look at the style and then realized the bottoms were shorts. I also removed the bottoms to look at them for sizing. I have bought this brand many times and know what size I wear. I had never bought a set with shorts. This doesn’t and shouldn’t sound unusual to any one. As I was checking out and trying to help by removing hangars to expedite the process, I was abruptly told by the cashier she would do that. OK. I continued to put my items on the counter. I had not returned the swimsuit to its hangar. Cashier scanned the top and then picked up the matching shorts. She said, “what’s this? Did you try this on?” I said, no. She said, “why did you take it apart?” I said, “apart? I took it off the hanger to look at it.” Then immediately I thought and said, “did someone put a different bottom with it?” Cashier said, “well they are both Leilani.” She never looked at the SKU to see if they matched. Just because it was the same brand didn’t mean they matched!!! I’m not sure what she was accusing me of but I DID NOT APPRECIATE HER TONE. Never have I had an experience like this and I frequent this store.

Bad customer support for returns

I had ordered the wrong item. I was looking for a Jones New York duvet set and when I typed that in, it popped up at Bealls. I didn't notice that this was a comforter set versus a duvet set which was entirely my fault. I contacted them 15 minutes after I placed the order and was told I cannot cancel it once the order is placed because it was already being processed. It arrived today and the box was completely torn up appearing as though it had already been opened and retaped, and not well. I start a return and I was told that they cannot send a prepaid label and deduct the shipping from my refund. That I would have to include the shipping label in a box and at my own expense take it to whatever carrier I chose. Since the Box they sent it in wasn't in good enough condition to send it back, it meant I had to find another box or purchase one. The cost to return was high due to it's weight so it wasn't worth my paying more money to have it shipped. I had already paid $10.99 to have it delivered but the cost to ship it back was almost $20. While the mistake in ordering it was mine, I'm appalled at the lack of support in their return process. I'm sure the difference in the cost to ship to me versus the cost to ship back is due to Bealls having a corporate account with FedEx versus a customer who doesn't have a corporate account. I'm just very disappointed in their customer support on returns and would never order from them again or recommend anyone order online from them.

The representative christina lied about processing my refund

I placed an online order around Christmas time and the perfume top arrived defective from my order so I contacted customer service and the woman who answered the phone and assisted me name christina told me to take a picture of the perfume and put the item number on the email as well as her name and email it to the address that she had given me and that I would be refunded back to my debit card. I sent her two different emails pictures of the defective item, six days had passed without a email confirmation of my refund status from the representative name christina so I called customer service again and this time a woman name Michelle who answered the phone and assisted me with my order refund informed me that christina hadn't processed my refund she's a liar and extremely unprofessional, and the second representative Michelle processed my refund promptly she was extremely professional and courteous and I recieved the confirmation emai for the refund that same day that she processed my refund.

DO NOT ORDER ON LINE. I JUST GOT RIPPED OFF. THEY TOOK THE MONEY OUT OF MY ACCOUNT AND MY ORDER WAS NOT PLACED. I CALLED. THEY STATED WELL I GUESS THE ITEMS WEREN'T IN STOCK. WELL, WHY ARE THEY LISTED AS AVAILABEL THEN?????? THE LADY SAYS WELL YOU'LL HAVE TO WAIT 10 DAYS TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK. HIGHLY INCOMPETENT AND UNACCEPTABLE FOR A MULTI MILLION DOLLAR COMPANY. IM EXTEMELY AGGRAVATED.

Bealls, Destin Florida

This concerns an incident at the Destin Bealls. If you like Bealls, skip this one and go to Bealls at Gulf Breeze. There is no excuse for sales personnel that are down-right nasty to the customers in Florida. In Forty Years of vacationing in this area, and planning on retiring here- this store stands out as having the single-most nasty person handling the check-out. An older woman, obviously mad at the world. Insisted on going through my wife's paid for packages before checking her out. Insisted that using the Bealls credit card did not give a discount, until my wife proved it to her going to the online ad. After paying for the package, the woman refused to let her carry them into the restroom. What? Carrying in UNPAID for items makes sense, but after ringing the items through the register herself- INSISTED they could not be carried into the restroom. Retail stores wonder why people do not visit. This is a main reason- you do not take time out to select items to buy just to be insulted at the check-out. This woman obviously has issues, and the store obviously has major issues for lack of management. Maybe they are trying to run themselves out of business. My wife and Daughter went to the Bealls in Gulf Breeze where they had a great shopping experience. Not ready to write-off the whole chain for one person, but will not go into Destin to this one again.

Was at the outlet on 40 in Ocala

Was at the outlet on 40 in Ocala. There was 1 cashier which would not have been a problem had she not had a 5 min conversation over nothing with the lady who just checked out. I and 1 other customer just stood there listening to them chat. It was super ridiculous and highly rude.

I shop at Bealls often. I have never had a bad, or even neutral, experience. I'm always pleased with the inventory and service I receive. They have amazing clearance sales and fun outlet stores. My friend from NC loves to go to Bealls every time she comes to visit us in FL.
