What Shoppers Say About cometeer.com
Cometeer receives sharply divided reviews, with shoppers praising the quality and taste of the coffee itself as excellent and noting health benefits from switching away from potentially contaminated alternatives. However, the company faces severe criticism over deceptive subscription practices, with multiple reviewers reporting they were enrolled in automatic monthly charges (around $90-$95) after signing up for discounted discovery boxes that were presented as only requiring shipping payment. Many shoppers were not clearly informed about the subscription terms and found the opt-out process difficult.
Customer service emerges as a major complaint across reviews. Shoppers report that email is the only contact method available and that response times are slow, with support staff sending generic FAQ responses rather than addressing individual problems. Additional issues include missing packages in transit and bungled orders. While the coffee quality itself receives consistent praise from satisfied customers, the combination of unclear subscription enrollment practices and poor customer service support has left many shoppers frustrated and unwilling to reorder.

Sorted by: Most recentTheir coffee is honestly really good and I sampled plenty of different roasts and varieties that I enjoyed. However, when something went wrong and I needed assistance, getting help was like pulling teeth. Getting an actual resolution took forever. From what I can tell, customer service has gotten even worse. I'm genuinely concerned about being locked into paying premium prices for a company that won't actually support what they're selling. Approach with caution.
The coffee itself is decent quality but getting it is a hassle. They've messed up my order three times in the last few months. Most recently, I placed an order for eight different coffees and received none of them, plus they threw in four that I didn't order. When support eventually replied, they said several items from my original order were out of stock. Plus they ship through OnTrac in California, and that company is cheap and unreliable. The website is confusing, canceling your subscription is deliberately made hard, and you can't remove your card info even after canceling. Everything about how they operate feels sketchy except for the actual product. Go somewhere else.
Started out happy with my order, and I'll give credit where it's due, the coffee is genuinely good. But their customer support is lacking. I've had shipping problems before, and the most recent issue was not receiving my subscription order at all. I got charged the full price instead of getting my subscriber discount applied. Still trying to get this sorted out. My recommendation is to find a physical store near you that carries their product and buy there instead. It's disappointing because the coffee itself is quality, but the company doesn't seem to have things running smoothly.
Right from the start, this company isn't being truthful about what they've actually invested in their technology. They claim huge funding for equipment that costs way less than what they're saying. If they'll exaggerate about that, what else are they stretching the truth about? Don't waste your time with them.
This company started with misleading claims right from the beginning, boasting about massive investment in their freeze-drying technology that doesn't add up. If they're not being truthful about something that basic, how can you trust anything else they do? I'd steer clear.
It's unacceptable that Cometeer won't let you talk to a real person. I'm trying to update the payment card on my account and they keep texting me a link that never arrives in my inbox, and it's not going to spam either. My delivery is currently paused because of this. Why can't they just let you update your card info directly on the account page? This whole situation is unnecessarily frustrating and complicated.
Placed an order and paid, but it never showed up. Tried reaching out to customer support multiple times through text and email and got nothing back. Eventually had to contact my bank to reverse the charges. Don't trust this company.
I'm really pleased with this company. Great selection of choices available. My only request would be to allow customers to pick specific coffee varieties rather than limiting it to full strength, half strength, and decaf options. These work amazing for cold brew. When I make them hot, they're excellent too. The value is surprisingly good when you calculate the cost per cup, though theoretically I'm saving money, I still love visiting local coffee shops anyway.
Really like what this company offers. Tons of choices, though I wish I could pick specific coffees instead of just choosing between full strength, half strength, or decaf. I'm a big iced coffee person and these make an excellent iced cup. They're also great for hot coffee too. Cost per cup works out really reasonably, so on paper it should cut my coffee spending, but I still enjoy supporting local cafes.
