Great experience when I used them for a closet project. When I tried them for a pantry with a corner unit though, things went downhill. The corner assembly guide had me cut an important piece incorrectly. The worst part is they already know this is a problem, but they wouldn't expedite replacement parts to me even though they have them in stock. Instead I had to wait until the following week. My pantry is basically frozen for five days now because of it.

Don't buy from here. The instructions are confusing and way too basic. There were countless parts of the assembly that made no sense and I lost count trying to figure everything out. I got halfway through installing a full closet wall before I had to stop and call in a professional. The first contractor looked at the instructions, shook his head, and said he couldn't help. The second one managed to do it but had to use an unusual method for the cleats to make sure it could support the weight properly, and that created other headaches. Once the frame was up, two of the sections were about an eighth inch too wide for the drawers to fit right, and the drawer slides actually broke when we tried forcing them in. They don't even pre-drill the holes for the drawer parts either. Find a different company.

Watch out if you're buying a closet setup that goes deeper than their standard 14 inches. I ordered a 19-1/16 inch system and ran into a major issue. The holes where you attach the hanger rod are positioned 2 inches from the front, which means there's about 9 inches of wasted space behind your hanging clothes. The company knows about this problem but basically told me to drill my own holes instead of fixing it. It's frustrating because other companies solved this by adding a third row of holes so you can move the rod back further. I'm shocked they haven't addressed this yet.

Easy Closets doesn't actually cost less than their competitors. I shopped around and got quotes from other closet companies that were pretty similar. The catch is you're doing all the work yourself, plus you're stuck with their shipping partner Estes Express, which honestly provides terrible service if you look at their ratings. Plan on losing a whole day waiting and then cross your fingers they actually show up, because both my Easy Closets deliveries through them were a nightmare. The second time they never came after I sat around for almost 8 hours, didn't even call to let me know, just never communicated anything. That was the breaking point for me. It's unfortunate because Easy Closets would've gotten way more of my money if they handled shipping better.

Really disappointing overall. I ordered from EasyCloset twice and both times had major problems. The first shipment got dropped off at my neighbor's place instead of mine, so I had to hire someone with a truck to haul it over and that cost me extra. On my second order, the products arrived in terrible condition. The sales and promotions are what got me to order twice, but the customer support side was slow and never really addressed my concerns. That's what frustrated me the most.

We've done two different projects with EasyClosets in our home and both came out amazing. First we built a custom master bedroom closet with help from their design team, then we tackled a complete laundry room setup with cabinetry and a sink. Outstanding customer service from start to finish, all the pieces were cut precisely, every screw and hardware piece was included and labeled properly, and everything showed up on time. Their videos and instruction guides are really detailed and easy to follow. The company and their products are honestly top notch. My advice is to measure everything carefully and know that you'll need real DIY experience before starting. This isn't something for someone who's only assembled basic flat pack furniture. But if you're willing to take your time and follow along, you'll save a ton compared to hiring professionals.
