The problem is the quality just isn't there. After wearing it just a few times and washing it once on the gentle cycle, the polyester is already pulling away from the quilted seams. For the price I paid it might have been acceptable, but for full price this would've been a total ripoff. I tried reaching out to Free Country about the issue but never got any response.
Absolutely terrible customer service. Every time I've called, I get disconnected, and this happened several times just today. Send them an email and you'll never hear back.
What a letdown. The item description said it was filled with down, but every tag on the coat clearly states polyester fill. That's straight up false advertising. When I complained about it, they hit me with a $9 restocking fee anyway. I had to dispute the whole thing with my credit card company to resolve it.
I'm really frustrated with how Free Country handles returns and treats their customers. I ordered a top for Christmas that cost $32.40, but it ended up being way too big so I sent it back. The item wasn't on sale, I'd never worn it, and I started the return well within their time frame. Everything should've been fine, but then they deducted $9 for return shipping and only gave me $4 back total. So out of my $32.40 order, I got $4 refunded. This wasn't spelled out clearly when I checked out, and when I tried calling customer service to understand what happened, nobody ever got back to me. This feels really shady and not what you'd expect from a company. I'm thinking about filing complaints with consumer protection agencies and making sure other people know what happened before they order from here.
If I could give zero stars I absolutely would. I placed an order for an embroidered jacket but what showed up was completely wrong, both the item itself and the embroidery design. I sent multiple emails and made several calls but got nothing back. Finally received the correct jacket in February, even though I'd originally ordered it back in November. This company lost me as a customer. Everyone should be careful before buying from them.
UPDATE: They sent me a USPS tracking number for a package that had already been delivered back in October to a completely different state, even though I placed my order in January. I ended up disputing it with my credit card since something felt off. This company seems pretty sketchy. There's no way to cancel or modify an order after you've placed it, even if you catch a mistake right away. Good luck finding customer service because there's no phone number listed. When I tried the number in the app, it directed me to some medical device promotion which was weird. I attempted to fix my shipping address through chat and email but the support people weren't helpful at all. I'm not planning to order again unless somehow I end up getting my items, which at this point are headed to my parents in another state.
These ladies trail pants are fantastic. The fabric is thick and feels like good quality. I really appreciate the pockets since I always need somewhere to put things when I'm out. They fit great and actually look slimming if that matters to you. You can wear them dressed up or keep it casual. They've held up perfectly through washing with no shrinkage or issues whatsoever. The pricing is reasonable and my order got here quickly. I've been so happy with them that I've actually bought three pairs now. No complaints about this company at all.
