Had a Gopro hero 3 for a few years

Had a Gopro hero 3 for a few years, forgot the wifi password. Emailed Tech in the morning within a couple of hours they'd sent a guide to reset and all now working. Thanks Ally P in support.

Great products appalling customer service

Great products appalling customer services and aftercare. Ive had gopro cameras for a few years now, my advice being if you are seeking reliable after care look for an alternative product!

Pathetic corporate jargon refusing to…

Pathetic corporate jargon refusing to answer a simple question. I ordered an item for fast shipping to arrive on 5th March. 4th March UPS said there was a paperwork issue. I contacted gopro and thus started a 6 day 13 email back and forth where gopro refused to answer any questions (except after 3 direct requests, they said they'd refund the postage once I'd received the item). I kept getting updates from UPS at gopros failure to provide correct paperwork. Then UPS said they were giving up and returning the item to gopro. Gopro still refuses to talk to me other than asking we are looking into it. 13 emails. 6 days and they are still looking into it. They refuse to send a replacement out even though UPS has told them the item is being returned. It appears gopro is using some sort of AI auto response because no one is actually reading and responding to my email content. Gopro should be do embarrassed it is treating its customers in the disrespectful manner.

Do not buy

Do not buy. For the ads and videos showing the GOPRO as the adventure camera. It certainly does not stand up. I purchased my go pro less than a year ago from Costco in Edmonton. And I have used it on two trips. One, backpacking in Alberta and one on a trip abroad. When I came back from my trip, I noticed that the rear screen had a hairline crack. I have not dropped this go pro and have always protected it well. When I contacted Costco, they told me there is nothing they can do. I contacted GoPro and they said that I must have hit it on something. I hold it in my hand when hiking. I have not dropped it or fallen with this device. I strongly recommend if not to purchase any of these units for adventure.

80 Days without a camera and no refund!! SHOCKING Customer experience

Case number: 16018157 (closed by Go Pro but not resolved)I purchased a GoPro Max 2 on 23 October 2025 within a few weeks, the camera stopped working. I returned the device on 27 November, expecting a straightforward replacement process. Unfortunately, what followed has been an absolute shambles and seeing the reviews I am not the only one! I purchased the camera 110 days ago and have now been without it for 80 day! Impossible to get in acknowledgement or response from customer services and i'm in total limbo now having to take them to court. Toxic brand avoid at all costs!

Support People Lied stold $105.00

I bought gopro 8 over 2 years ago and I activated the free 30 day trial when I got home. I thought the camera was great but I didn't really need it so I cancelled the same day I got the trial. I find out 2.5 years later they charged me 52.99 on two different occasions unauthorized. I had phone number I found for support left message after message and no return I tried emailing them.ans no luck getting a response. My credit card company gave me different email so I went through process and Jon got back to me saying help.isnon the way..he told me would not be problem he would research it and credit the charges back. The next day credit card company got nothing I emailed him back he said I would need to go through my bank to get money back to limitations they have. Never again will I buy from dishonest company like Gopro. I turned the camera on once that is it. $105.00 stolen by crooked company.

Scammed: Received a GoPro Hero 5 instead of 13

I purchased from Walmart on 1/27/26 a sealed GoPro 13 box (with the pullcord at the bottom still intact). When I came home and opened it, it had stickers on, and when I removed the stickers it was a Hero 5. I did not even realize it until I had trouble following the instructions as nothing was matching and then I realized that the battery didn't even match.I reached out to GoPro and they refused to do anything about it blaming Walmart who in turn is blaming GoPro. No one is taking accountability.

I have had a gopro cloud for 3 years…

I have had a gopro cloud for 3 years now and to be honest i don't use it very often ,I'm just using it as a storage. Just came back from skintrop and wanted to watch some videos on my 4k lg smart TV but I was unable to cast the videos from.hopro quick onto the TV. There is no special app for the LG tv either and when I tried to cast it from the browser there is no image as my chromecast is only 2k the TV itself is 4k but there is no option to cast it straight on the TV. This is definitely my last year of subscription as whats the point of having all of those videos stored if you cannot watch it on the TV. They more than happy to charge users for subscription but clearly do not give dam about making the app user friendly.
