What Shoppers Say About Gottex
Gottex swimwear receives consistently negative feedback from shoppers on RetailCoupons.com, rated 1.0 out of 5 by 3 reviewers. The primary complaints center on return policies and shipping practices: customers report unexpected return shipping costs (particularly £20 DHL fees), being required to ship returns to China at their own expense, and discrepancies between stated policies and actual customs charges for EU orders. Additional concerns include the company operating under multiple business names, which creates confusion about order origins and fulfillment.
Shoppers indicate the brand has declined from its previous reputation. The consensus among reviewers is that despite claims of hassle-free returns, the actual process involves significant hidden costs and policy inconsistencies that make returning items prohibitively expensive. No positive aspects of the products or service are mentioned in available reviews.

Sorted by: Most recentStay away from this company. They operate under multiple business names, so when you place an order with one entity, your package shows up from a completely different one. This brand isn't what it used to be. They claim returns are no problem, but the catch is you're paying to ship it yourself to an address in China. I sent back a swimsuit that didn't fit and tracked it all the way there, but it's been stuck in Customs limbo ever since. When you try emailing them about it, you're actually communicating with a different company altogether (Amara), and all you get back are automated responses that don't actually help solve anything. UPDATE: My return package (cost me over £12 to mail) just came back to me from China because it never cleared Customs. I'm guessing the return address they gave me might not even exist. Turns out the actual company running things is called Amara London.
Here's something important to know before ordering Gottex swimwear: if you need to send it back because it's not the right fit, be prepared to pay an extra £20 in return shipping fees since they exclusively use DHL for returns.
Despite what their shipping terms claim, there are actually customs charges if you're ordering from within the EU. Their policy states 'please be aware that import duties and taxes may apply upon receipt of orders shipped outside of the european union,' but this doesn't match what actually happens.
