Grubhub is the absolute worst delivery service!! I order frequently from GrubHub, like frequently, but lately my food has been delivered cold or is of very poor quality. I understand the formula is not perfect but because of the fees I am paying, I expect good food and service. I am so angry because Grubhub refused to refund health hazard chili I purchased. The chili was a bowl of red oil and grease with some kind of beef fat at the bottom. Totally inedible. It had chorro written all over it!! What makes me mad is that GH refused to stand by their business model! Should I have eaten the chorro chili, gotten sick, then called the health department? I get that the chorro chili was made by the restaurant, but I did not pay the restaurant. I paid GrubHub! I was also stuck in AI hell and received the same contrived answers from the bots!! So frustrating!! I have deleted the app and will never order from them ever again!!!

As a driver for this unscrupulous company I find whoever runs this business is a horrible human being. Drivers do not even make minimum wage. Our cars get trashed, we have to pay extra for insurance and gas is too much to add to the unfair delivery pay. Often customers do not even tip & GH pays pennies for each delivery and allow their customers to not even adequately tip drivers. If you do not accept every order GH penalizes you, does not give access to scheduling and pushes you out denying you orders. Total SCUM COMPANY. I see now why there are so many stories of disgruntled drivers and the reasons they are getting so angry. GH makes way more money than the drivers 99.9% of the time. Not worth it if you are considering driving. Go to any other company!

Food is delivered properly 1/5 times is embarrassing. Undercooked/raw, delivered late, cold or smashed up these seem to be the traits of the food delivered by this horrible app. The person delivering my food actually ran from the kfc to my house so all of the skin fell off the chicken. I burst out laughing. How is that even a thing. Trash

Only got half of my food and what I did get was completely cold. Customer service is a joke, their solutions are ridiculous. The agents are patronizing and just make you angrier. USE UBER EATS!!! I have had good experience with them. Will NEVER use GRUBHUB again!!!!

They delivered to the wrong address last time and the driver lied to me. So I was given a credit and ordered again, and they delivered me someone's else's order. Driver rang my doorbell 13 times and started pounding on my door after I had taken the order in, realizing that it was wrong, and after I got in the shower. The pounding and yelling and harassment of the driver continued. For safety reasons I refused to answer the door because of the hostility of the driver. You have to watch out for your own safety. I reported it to Grubhub and got a refund. I do not plan to order from these people again. I encourage you not to use them. I am in a senior building, their drivers are rough, make lots of mistakes and are unapologetic. I predict they will be gone in five years as a company. I am surprised they are still here. Protect yourself and look out for you. It is the only way to live. You've got to watch these folks very carefully. You pay an especially high price.

DRIVERS REGULARLY IGNORE DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS. MY WIFE AND I ARE DISABLED AND LIVE IN A SECURE BUILDING. DRIVERS HAVE CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS AS TO WHICH BUZZER TO PUSH AND TO HAND US FOOD BUT TOO OFTEN THEY DROP IT OUTSIDE IN THE COLD ON THE CURB AND TAKE OFF. WHEN CALLING THEM THEY DO NOT ANSWER OR GET SMART WITH YOU. MORE THAN ONCE WE HAVE HAD FOOD STOLEN BY THE TIME WE GET DOWNSTAIRS TO GET IT. GRUBHUB HAD ONY WANTED TO GIVE A 5-10 DOLLAR CREDIT AND HAS NO WAY TO HOLD DRIVERS ACCOUNTABLE. WE WILL NO LONGER USE THAT SERVICE.

Beware friends. While I've found most food delivery to be a little scammy, Grubhub is by far the worst. I have repeatedly had extremely slow service (1 hour or more). On a recent order, I gave up waiting and requested a refund. They refused a refund but offered a credit instead and gave me a $5 bonus as part of their "guarantee." Well, come to learn, you cannot use the $5 bonus with another order - meaning you have to place a separate order to use the credit. Since their service fees alone exceed the bonus amount, you are forced to spend yet more money just for the privilege of your troubles. I know. Crazy right?! Needless to say...nope Grubhub. Never again!

If I could leave no stars I would. This company is by far the worst delivery app. Those of you wondering why your food is cold and drinks flat and watered down, I can tell you why. Grubhub decided to pull an order from a location probably no where near your address, meaning the delivery driver had to go 30+ minutes out of the way from your address before it gets to you. Don't support this company. They treat the drivers like you know what, and the have zero regard for customers either, (see example above).
