Can't really review the actual tea since my order never arrived in the first place. When I asked about delivery status, I was told my order number belonged to an old delivery that had already been completed. I sent them proof of my current order number and proof that my payment went through on the purchase date, but never heard back. Called several times and was treated rudely each time, told they had no record of me or my order even though they had no problem taking my money. This is completely unacceptable. They're dishonest and poorly behaved.

Waiting a week for my order to even get sent out is ridiculous. They're happy to take your money but getting the tea actually shipped seems to be a problem. I reached out to customer service and got nothing back. Really frustrated with this experience.

I've been ordering from Harney since 2020 through both their site and Amazon. In October, I placed two separate orders a week apart. After over a week without tracking info for either one, especially my first order, I called customer service. They claimed it should've shipped and would arrive soon. That didn't happen. After several more days with no tracking, I emailed and got no response. I called again and still hadn't received my first order and was just getting my second one. Again I felt blown off and was promised it would come in a couple days, but no tracking appeared so I knew I was being given false information. Be careful ordering from here. Their service standards have dropped significantly. They'll take your payment but good luck knowing when you'll actually get your tea. What really upset me was that nobody seemed to actually care about my situation.

I've been ordering from Harney for more than ten years and continue to be impressed. Their tea selection is fantastic and orders arrive quickly. They constantly run promotions and coupon deals which is awesome. Some of my personal favorites are Blood Orange as a fruit option, Queen Catherine for black tea, and White Vanilla Grapefruit for white tea. I'm also a big fan of their Black Currant and Earl Gray Supreme varieties, plus Hot Cinnamon Spice in both black and green tea blends.

H&S is where I go for their blends and flavored teas mainly. Their premium single-origin options are available with better pricing and quality at other places. But their flavored selections are consistently solid quality with a natural flavor profile, unlike some other brands that taste artificial. Their standard teas come as broken leaves rather than full leaves, which is actually convenient for filling my own disposable tea bags from other sources.

I shop at H&S mainly for their blend and flavored tea selections. If you're looking for fancy single origin options, you can get better prices and quality elsewhere honestly. The flavored tea options are consistently good with a natural taste, not artificial or off-putting like some competitors. Their standard teas are broken leaf rather than whole leaf, which honestly works great for my own bagged tea setup that I make myself elsewhere.

Over five years of ordering from Harney and Sons and I've had nothing but great experiences. They've got an awesome range of high quality teas at reasonable prices. Their recent decision to offer free shipping on all orders makes them my top choice for tea purchases. Everything arrives perfectly packaged and protected, plus they throw in sample sachets of other teas to try. I particularly love their Historic Royal Palaces collection and have gotten really into their holiday themed teas lately. My personal recommendations are Blood Orange and Earl Grey Supreme.
