No bags anymore, no order

Very convenient if you need certain frozen food from well known brand . Unfortunately will shop elsewhere as they do not deliver in bags anymore. So when delivery driver arrives the Old age pensioner has to bend down to collect the items from the crate on your door steps. I had to help an OAP to pick their delivery from the door steps . Love their Cathedral City cheesy mash . Why not do what Ocado does, return your old used bags and money is refunded !

ICELAND NO £25 SAME DAY DELIVERY - ADDITIONAL £4 "SMALL BASKET" FEE MISLEADING ONLY £40 MINIMUM SPEND AVAILABLE

With the cost of living crisis and food increases, Iceland rewards it's customer's with "double-talk" when it comes to it's delivery hikes! The same day delivery service has a minimum spend of £25 but customer's then get charged an additional £4 "small basket fee", if their trolley is less than £40!Surely Iceland and the Food Warehouse need to change the minimum spend to £40 not £25!Don't fall foul of this tactic it's misleading and a retailer misrepresentation; customer's cannot spend a minimum £25 for same day delivery, it has to be £40. Didn't think Iceland of all the value supermarket's were like this! Had thought Iceland were attempting to help struggling families.

Yuk!!

I recently purchased frozen 5% fat stewing steak& it was the worst I've ever tasted! Despite being in a slow cooker on low for 6 hours, it was full of gristle & inedible. It's the 1st time I've bought it & it will be the last.

Disgusting Bag-less service, Goodbye Iceland

Bagless delivery with almost 50 items on three large trays on your doorsteps and expect you to take them out yourself item by item, the driver just stood there and didn't lift a finger to help, what a service, great that you are saving the planet, keep going, but I will be doing my online shopping elsewhere from now on.

Placed an order for same day delivery…

Placed an order for same day delivery between 7-9pm at 8.30 I get a message saying the driver could not gain access to my property I was in my front garden for over an hour working on my car the driver came no where near my house I called the store up and the woman I spoke to said yeah he's cancelled so he can get back to the store it's 8.30 delivery says up to 9pm, I've got be in work in a hour and no ones going be in for the day I've called the store multiple times to try rearrange the delivery but the phone gets put down on me I've called customer services they couldn't get through and said I'll send an email to them so now I'm either going have to be late for work or miss the order what I've spent £200 on I will never be using Iceland again after this really unprofessional customer service

Both myself and my wife are disabled…

Both myself and my wife are disabled and find the bagless deliveries terrible. Have now started to receive some of my groceries from Joybuy who deliver next day through DPD and my shopping comes neat and secure in a box/boxes. Just waiting for them to stock fresh and frozen produce then I'm with them. They never mess up my order like iceland has and I've never received a damaged item.

No more chances!!

Unfortunately I am here once again having to leave another bad review. I know I should have learnt from the last time, but I believe in second chances. Unfortunately, there won't be a 3rd!!I understand that the delivery drivers have a lot of orders to deliver so some frozen items may not not fully frozen. But I do not expect for my kid's ice lollies to be all melted to liquid in the bottom of the cellophane wrapping inside the box. Or their ice cream to be completely melted and sloppy in the tub 😡 I know that they are just a few cheap boxes of ice lollies and tubs of ice cream, but they are a treat for the kids and they will sit in the kitchen looking out the window to "keep a look out for me" as they say! They look forward to the delivery so as you can imagine there were a few tears from my youngest. Also, my oldest son's special protein mousses were the wrong flavour and even though he said he doesn't mind, I know he doesn't like the chocolate ones. Yes, Iceland have great deals and cheap prices, but I can't afford to go elsewhere and buy more. I know I can contact Iceland to request a refund for the defrosted and wrong items sent, but by the time I get a refund it'll be my next payday!!When we were hit with the bad snow at the beginning of the year I didn't get my home delivery because the snow was too bad where we live. It took 3 weeks for Iceland to refund me. I emailed back and forth with them and was told blatant lies. So I then called customer services and was told more lies!! In the end I had to make a complaint. A week after my complaint was logged I finally got my refund with no apology or explanation as to why it took so long and why the customer service staff lied to me. I will definitely have to start shopping elsewhere and hope that the kids don't have a meltdown like their ice lollies and ice cream did because "They're not the same mom!"

Disappointed with the new bagless system. Especially as it doesnt state it on checkout either.

Ive used iceland a lot over the years, I didnt realise until today they had gone bagless in my area. Most of my stuff got wet because of this too. Theres nothing on the website or at the checkout to say there will be no bags either. Totally disappointed and disheartened by this.I have a lot of health issues which is one reason I shop online. I was not prepared for this and having to pack everything and unpack everything again doesnt help :(

Really dropping in service now

Really dropping in service now. Originally its never been a store I chose to shop due to expensive pricing on mostly poor quality & tasting food. However past 2 years or so I had grown happy to use online as I have bad back and the fact it all came sorted and bagged was a massive win for people like me, as I coukd just get the frozen bags straight upstairs to kitchen and leave the rest as I crumble in agony from bending. Its why I had stop with Asda. I was literally ending up crippled on floor & stuff stuck behind door, as too painful. However after having my burst appendix out in January and only not even a week post op I ordered 1 evening fir next morning, only for the guy to turn up that day with no stuff bagged claiming they'd just started that morning no longer doing it bagged. Well I didnt order that morning I ordered day before!! And was charged on basis its bagged. I pointed out ive literally jist had a major operation , & would say he guessed by my face. He would be taking it all back if he didn't help with what they tried pulling on my doorstep. For me, that was a sign I wouldn't order anymore. However they had a item I really liked in the order ( not a brand of theirs), but on going to reorder its down as out of stock online everytime. Yet on Just eat where I have to pay a premium in charges the item is there, and also I get same day and stuff bagged. So I ordered through just eat, multiples of that item only!! So that if it wasn't really in stock i wouldn't end up with a delivery at my door of a item i wasn't bothered about only ( as yes in the past ive used uber ears to get a bottle of wine once delivered from iceland & tacked on a bag of peanuts so the total reached the minimum spend. Only to have driver turn up and no wine in bag, so i oaid a fortune fir peanuts to be delivered & iceland were obnoxious when i phoned, why no alcohol in bag. I mean seriously they shoukdve contacted to vancel order. So dont trust tyem or other stores when it comes down to this stuff.) Thankfully, it came. That was great. However, I chose to order the rest of the shopping through online so not paying premium prices. I mainly wanted the Sandwich fillers its the only reason I ordered and the currys. 2 days later my shopping comes and I think wow that seems small, I realised after he gone none of the 9 Sandwich fillers have come but theyve sent the bread & mayo. Basically ive ended up with items i tagged on, just to get to the minimum spend but nearly all the items I actually wanted not in shopping. Seriously who want bread with nothing put on it 🙄. Out of 29 items 10 were missing. This order has cost me over £55!!! With the refund which is insane for the minimal amount of stuff I had and I coukdve ordered 3 take aways with that. Where each order the food lasts 3 days. On looking at other reviews about not getting the correct prices or promotions added , im actually questioning the cost my order ( ive not got refund on misding items yet, at least its logged on file though as iceland are atrociois if its not and claimed deliveted, they are the most difficult company to get refunded by) Im genuinely thinking as others stated what ive been given for delivery doesnt add up. I have 1 £ 10 item but the rest are nothings and in no way should come to £45 for store curries, chicken & bavon pasya ( of whoch theres no chicken or bacon in it), coleslaw & nags of S&P chicken, & mayonnaise, how the hell those gonna cost £45!! . Just a total rip off and i coukd have real nice take out food last me a week for that. That saves me dealing with cratss, prepping & cooking if i jist get takeout now instead lol.The only saving grace with this delivery was the driver was super nice and automatically put my shopping in the bags I came down stairs with. I knew he looked like he felt guilty for something or bad, but obviously not his fault hes just driver.I cant see Iceland lasting with all these changes. The fact they wont give me my items from their online but I can get them through just eat is just poor online shopping from them & discarding providing bags is definitely goung to kill off people who used them for only that reason. This is why they're being more used through just eat but really people are only interested from there when they add sale items making the service fees etc bankable. Terrible business sense & I feel bad for any staff that are gonna lose jobs if the stores closed down from loss. I understand other stores arrive with stuff just in crates I use use them but I stopped or drastically cut down my shop because I just couldn't cope. My body would shake. So this was only reason I paid icelands overtop price for a poorer food shop, was ease of getting it away. Ive really been scammed on this shop though..apart from maybe ordering that 1 item I like through just eat again. I wont be ordering with them no more.
