Refund never issued.

I returned two orders, one partial the other complete. I was reimbursed for the partial order only. I spoke with Customer Service and was told I would receive the reimbursement for the complete order. In which I never received. I will not order from JC Penney again.

I won't even give 1 star only thing…

I won't even give 1 star only thing system required marking. JCP customer service would not give me her name All I request February payment amount and to close account due to " identity theft". Rep said will get letter in mail closing account but not her name. Language barrier on Top of the call.

I made a order with a egift card for…

I made a order with a egift card for items on the website got an email that they had to cancel my order they didn't have the items that the website has on it said I'd receive a check in mail because I paid egift card instead of just issuing me another egift!!!!! Waited nothing came in mail so I had to call to find out i had to make a complaint case to even get this refund started!!!! So 2 weeks no items no refund nothing!!!! And now im told I have to wait again to find out how ill get the refund or when ill get it!!! This is a joke jcpenny needs to be closed they are liars they falsely advertise having stuff they don't have and now im out completely with nothing but stress!!!!

YOU WONT GET YOUR ORDER

You will NOT get your online order. I have waited OVER A WEEK to receive an item I purchased online and has been delayed in transit. A delay that their shipping partner caused by sending it BACK to the state it originated from! Customer service is useless and unhelpful. Their shipping partner, UPS, is just as big of a joke as JCPenny's is.Whoch UPS holds contracts with ICE. Another reason to NOT give my money to JCP EVER AGAIN!I feel JCP deserves the Target Treatment.DO NOT GIVE THIS DISGUSTING COMPANY YOUR MONEY!!!!

My husband purchased a beautiful anniversary ring from jc penny in alabaster al. The sales clerk Mia was the Absolutely best!!! She was so helpful and friendly! Great experience! I would definitely recommend jc pennys fine jewelry department in alabaster, al. Ask for Mia for she is so sweet, helpful and patient.

The beauty department is horrible at JC…

The beauty department is horrible at JC penny! The beauty department sales girls are more like used car sales ppl absolutely no experience in cosmetics and skin care ! The young girls that work there have terrible skin and their hair is so oily ! I would not buy a one single product there! The products there are so out dated and damaged as well! When Sephora departed and went away that killed JC beauty forevermore as far as I am concerned and a lot of other consumers as well! So unfortunate!

Not a reliable seller.

Placed an order on 12/30/25. To this day, I have not received my item and they have not communicated with me about it at all. I called customer service. The reps do not know reason for the delay. Said that the manufacturer may have “forgotten” or may have not processed my item. Very weird.Waiting for a reply to an escalation made by customer service.I will never buy anything else from JC Penny again.

JCPENNEY Leominster Store, very disrespectful staff - Tammy

I went to the store in Leominster today around 6pm today 1/16/2025, to pick up my items but all the items had been packed in one big box because it was purchased online and shipped to store for pick up. So, I told the sales representative to cut the tape to open the big box which she did. After that, I told her that I wanted to check the items individually to certify if everything was alright before I take it home. In this case, I decided to open the shoe boxes and was putting each item on a different table which wasn't in use at all, at least not at that very moment. There was another POS work station which the representatives normally use to serve customers and the place wasn't busy so far, I was the only person there. I was still checking my shoes and was taking them from the shoe boxes when a customer came to stand there so this sales representative went to serve her . To set the record straight, I had already told this sales representative that I was shipping the shoes to my family overseas and I don't have to ship all of that in the boxes because I didn't have any intention of returning any of the shoes. She understood my point and so she went ahead to do other stuff, leaving me alone to continue to check while she hanged the clothes behind her on the hangers. Well, then came Tammy, who I was told later that she was the supervisor, was hanging some of the clothes behind the sales desk on a hanger so she would take them to the designated places . She looked at me in a condescending way and then turned her direction towards the other sales representative who had served me and was also putting clothes back on the hangers; like tidying up kinda off, Tammy said "we gonna need the table" then quickly this sales representative took 2 shopping bags and started packing my stuff and was going to put them on the floor. But meanwhile, there were no customers there, not busy at all. I told this sales representative that I don't put my stuff on the floor. Very disrespectful Tammy with that look in her eyes. I decided to not to respond to her rude behavior and concentrated on what I was doing and then dropped off my stuff in my car and went back into the store again just to check again if the place was busy or not and if the table was being used or not but no, that wasn't the case at all. I have been a customer of JCPENNEY for a longtime and I have never encountered such a disrespectful staff who thinks my items should be treated like trash and not just my items but me as a person don't because deserve to be treated with respect. Yes, I bought the items online and so it should be treated like trash but is it not the same company? I get it; I sure do, because I am black and my color is different from hers so I don't deserve that kind of respect that she would have given to others who has the sameskin coloras hers. I am not a kid and it not the first time I have picked up my stuff in store. I picked up similar items on the 13th and the staff over there, at the shoe section served me with smiles on her face, she offered to help from the word go. There were few mangers around too. I hope she understands that even though I am black , I use the same usd to shop and it's because of all customers that JCPENNEY is still in business. She's there to serve and respect all customers and not to behave as rude as she did today. I wonder if such a person who is in a supervisory position and is behaving this way, would be able to ensure that other staff members under her watch will treat all customers, not just some customers with respect based on their skin color. In fact, I am very disappointed and I thank God that I don't have anymore items bought online that has to be picked up in Leominster branch. Like, I will fail to pick them up so that the store will return it to wherever. She shouldn't repeat that to anyone because it's hard to win customers and retain them these days. I think I can now resume shopping at Macy's, it's a great place to shop with start money, quality stuff, free shipment when you buy items worth $25.
