The Los Angeles Times has abandoned journalistic standards. Every story seems to have a leftist angle. They cherry pick facts to fit their narrative. Officials told us public gatherings spread the virus most, yet they didn't report how authorities failed to enforce that standard during protests while people gathered without safety measures. That's what drove case increases, not business reopenings. I followed protocols at restaurants, churches, and salons, but protesters ignored all guidelines. The Times covered none of this. Shameful for what used to be a respected paper. I'm canceling my subscription.

As someone who's subscribed long-term, I'm let down by where the LA Times is headed editorially. The paper stopped being neutral in its reporting and commentary. The selection of writers shows obvious bias. The Times no longer maintains the kind of journalism standards it used to have. They need to decide what they're actually for: delivering information or pushing an agenda?

The LA Times has disappointed me. I kept my subscription current with payments until I relocated out of the area. Then they demanded I pay what they claimed was overdue, even though they kept delivering after I'd moved and quit paying. I reached out to customer service on 10/4 to sort it out, but the agent had trouble understanding me even though I speak clearly. I asked to talk to someone else and she disconnected the call around 10:50am. That's it for me and the LA Times.
