I bought 96 Callaway Chrome Soft X balls in mint condition and the quality was solid. Getting them took about 2 weeks, which wasn't ideal, but once they arrived I was pleased with what I got. Works out to less than two bucks per ball.

The listing said Mint, and the pictures of the ProV1s looked flawless. I paid for 50 balls and a bunch of them showed up with cuts and cracks. Pretty disappointing product. Then when I reached out about it, the company tried blaming the marketplace seller. I sent them images and details about my order, and instead of handling it, they basically pushed the issue over to the online retailer. I'd say 30 to 50 percent of my order was basically junk. These balls had damage right in the cover itself. Wondering if they just rebrand and repaint different brand balls then stamp them with another name.

Pristine balls came through with way more flaws than advertised. Bought 96 Titleist Velocity balls marked as Pristine, and roughly one out of every ten had markings, damage, or color issues. Getting a refund or replacement has been a nightmare and nothing's been resolved.

I ordered what was labeled as Pristine 2024 AVX balls and what I got back were clearly refinished - and you can tell when that happens. One ball had the Titleist and 1 printed on just one hemisphere, not both sides like it should have. Plus the AVX alignment mark was completely missing. These are refinished balls, and they don't even have the required marking that should be on refinished products. Also weird thing - if you actually look at how they rate their inventory, there's no Pristine category at all.

The quality dropped off big time at Lostgolfballs after they took over operations. I used to shop at Golf Ball Direct and always walked away with excellent merchandise. Since the switch, I've placed two orders here and the balls haven't come close to what I used to get. Looking through my 5A order, I found way too many with obvious damage - cart path marks, scuffs, that kind of thing. They did give me credit for a dozen after my first purchase, so I gave it another shot. The second order was actually worse, and now I can't even leave reviews on their site anymore. Not coming back.
