Never Buy Motorola

Zero stars please. I have a Moto Stylus 5G. This is the ABSOLUTE worst device I have ever had the displeasure of owning. This thing is totally non responsive. I attempted to answer a phone call moments ago but the phone app refused to open. I missed the call. Text messages simply do not send. Web works for moments at a time. WiFi is operation is a serious gamble. Motorola has gone to trash. I will Never EVER buy anything from Motorola again.

Caveat Emptor

Caveat Emptor, Buyer beware. Absolutely terrible experience. Not one I'd like to repeat.During the month of November 2025, while preparing Christmas gift ideas for my wife to give me, I was looking at different phones on the internet. I was looking through the details as to what each phone could do, such as battery life, signal, SIM cards, price, camera, memory storage etc.I took the opportunity to e-mail the customer service department of Motorola and suggested a couple of models I was looking at that meet my specific needs which I outlined and sought recommendation -from someone experienced and knowledgeable- of a mobile phone that would meet with my needs as outlined. These emails were exchanged between the 19th and 21st November 2025.Following assurances from the customer service department that a particular model would meet with my specifications the most important of which was 2 physical SIM cards and a good size battery, I placed an order on the 21st of November 2025.The order was paid for by bank transfer on the same day.The phone arrived on the 27th of November 2025.On the 28th of November, I opened the box to make sure the model would actually take the 2 physical SIM cards. In truth, I could not figure it out. On 1st of December, I sent an e-mail to the sales representative who told me that there had been a misunderstanding – or perhaps she was misinformed- by the manager.Due to the fact that it did not meet my most important criteria, the return of phone was organised on the 1st of December 2025, and labels were emailed to me on the 2nd.The parcel was dropped off at the local post office on the 3rd of December 2025 and was successfully delivered the parcel to the Motorola distribution centre on the 9th of December 2025.There was no communication from Motorola and so after Christmas on the 6th of January 2026, I rang Motorola customer service department to be told that the package had to go to The Netherlands. There was no confirmation on the system to confirm the returned phone had been received in The Netherlands. I was told there was a system to automatically acknowledge receipt in the return depot which would advise me three to five business days after it was received. On the 9th of January 2026, I tried calling the sales agent that I had spoken to and been in email contact with before, but she was not available and she was to ring me back. On the 13th of January 2026, I rang customer care, and I spoke with an agent there who put me on hold while checking the details and told me that my refund had been approved on the 7th of January 2026.There had been no communication to advise that the phone had been received, or that the refund team were looking at it. There was no communication to say that the refund was in progress. There had been absolutely no communication initiated by Motorola. The lady explained that, following approval on the 7th of January, it would take 7 to 14 working days for the processing of a refund back to my original method of payment. She explained that that particular day -the 13th of January 2026, - would count as the 4th business day since the refund was approved. On the 16th of January 2026, I once again rang customer care and was speaking to the same lady whom I asked for a status update.I then got an e-mail confirmation to say that the refund had been approved but would take 7-14 business days to process, and that the 16th of January was actually the 8th day since the refund approval was granted. On the 28th of January 2026, I had still not received a refund which would have been due to hit my account before, or during the 27th of January 2026.On this call -the 28th of January 2026- the customer service agent put me on hold and went to check with the team. I was then told that my bank details were required considering it was a bank transfer that was used for the purchase.I cannot understand why in the 7 - 14 business days that it says it will take to process a refund, nobody got in touch with me to look for my bank details. I truly believe that had I not initiated the call, maybe Motorola would not have contacted me seeking the account number. It was not until 9th of February 2026 that I received my refund.

Motorola Razr screen protector keeps coming loose…

The screen protector keeps coming loose on the Razor and they don't ship the parts to their authorized repair facilities. Only option is to replace it, or ship it back to them, which can take up to four weeks to repair and return. My business is based on this phone, and I can't be without it. So I went for the cross ship exchange. And the replacement was worse than the original. Only option now is to purchase a new one. Unbelievable. I personally will not buy another Motorola. EVER. And would strongly recommend you not either.

BE AWARE

I ordered a TAG at the end of December 2025. Fedex failed to deliver it and sent it back. Since today I haven't received my replacement or the refund. Customer service is unreal - not replying to emails, nothing sorted out. DON'T BUY THEIR STUFF as if you ever need support you'll be in trouble. I am still wondering how they are still in business.

Purchased a new phone from this…

Purchased a new phone from this company, on 1/2026 I was told it was under a year warranty, but when I called they gave me the option to send back for repair that would take 3 to 5 days, I let them know that I have a pacemaker so couldn't send in my phone. So they stated they could send me a used replacement but they would have to put a hold on my credit card for 438$. They are a scam do not purchase from this company.
