Purchased a motherboard off Newegg in December 2024. In the fall of 2025 it was determined to be defective by a reputable computer service organization. I contacted the seller and I arranged to have it sent back for repair/replacement. It cost me $100 to send the parcel to the address provide only to have it returned 2 months later stating it was not picked up. The seller is saying not his fault but it clearly had the correct address provided and the parcel delivery shows it was delivered but not picked up. Now my only option is to ship it again what at this point. Will cost me close to the value of the item. Completely unhappy and would not recommend Newegg!

I returned some memory because one of the modules was dead, I wanted a replacement not a refund. They have some in stock but they just gave me a refund.It cost me double to get the same type of memory. I may as well just kept the memory. and gone somewhere else to try and buy a single memory stick.

I am writing this review after attempting, for the fourth time in less than a year, to place an order with NewEgg only to face consistent and repetitive systemic failures. My issues with NewEgg's order processing and payment authorization date back over seven years, and they remain unresolved.The Recent Incident:This week, I attempted to purchase a birthday gift for a friend. Despite having sufficient funds and credit available, NewEgg’s system repeatedly declined two different cards—both of which are known to be active and fully funded. After multiple denied attempts, the order was eventually cancelled by NewEgg's system.The Immediate Comparison:Immediately following the cancellation, I switched to Amazon.com. Using the exact same card that NewEgg’s system rejected just minutes prior, I was able to purchase the identical item, and in this instance, found it available for a lower price. The final and most compelling failure for NewEgg? Amazon delivered the item to my friend in under six hours from the time I placed the order. NewEgg was still struggling to process the payment that Amazon had already successfully executed and completed fulfillment for.The Bottom Line:This pattern of incompetence and system failure is unacceptable in modern e-commerce. Due to these chronic issues, NewEgg has lost over $400 in recent potential sales from me alone, business that was immediately transferred to reliable competitors. The time, effort, and continuous hassle required just to place a single successful order with NewEgg far outweigh any perceived benefit of shopping there.I strongly advise others to consider the high likelihood of frustration and delayed purchases when using this platform. I regret that I will no longer be using NewEgg for any future electronics purchases.

Newegg is really good when it comes to things they sell themselves, never had a problem. When it comes to third party vendors it's less of a sure thing, I've had occasionally had problems with items, for example I received fans as new when it was obvious that they had been used before.

Prebuilt computer that overheats with other problems and could not get any help from newegg.Really fast to sell you a computer but bad communication, or quality control.Buy parts from them maybe. Anything prebuilt ....NEVER AGAIN

Do NOT buy from them. You will get scammed!They work with third party vendors that they do not vet and then let them scam you. We bought from a vendor on their site called SnowBell. They said they delivered the computer and left zero proof of delivery. Just a link saying the date of delivery. We never received it and Newegg will not refund us.

I am very disappointed in Newegg. I purchased a Windows 11 Pro DVD which installed and worked fine until the latest windows update which deactivated Windows on my machine. After numerous tries and internet searches I eventually called Microsoft Help. They told me that the Product Key has been attempted to be used on more than just several computers and there was nothing they could do to reactivate it on my machine. I contacted Newegg and was told "That's impossible, the product came from Microsoft directly." I would think Microsoft would know what they are doing. Even if the DVD came from Microsoft it won't stop anyone from selling the Key to more than one customer. I was told they were going to have their techs check it out and get back to me. I haven't heard a word from them since. I have tried emailing their customer service but no response. I don't trust Newegg any more. I will be filing a formal complaint with Microsoft snitch line. I think Newegg will not appreciate having Microsoft contact them in this regard since what they have done is illegal. I will keep everyone posted on this.
