What a disappointment. I bought Malwarebytes Premium Security from Newegg for 3 devices and 1 year coverage, and it's turned out to be a total waste of both money and time. Since I already had an active subscription, I couldn't install the new license. All I needed was to have the key sent to a different email address, which should have been straightforward. Unfortunately, Newegg refused to handle this. Here's what dealing with their support was like: It took 5 days just to get an initial response, and they told me to contact Malwarebytes myself. After another week of back and forth, they finally said they couldn't help because it was from a third party and couldn't be linked to my current account. For a product I can't even use, their answer was a $5 credit, which felt insulting. I'm done with Newegg. For software purchases, go straight to the publisher so you actually get what you're paying for.

Bought a motherboard from Newegg in December and it turned out to be defective about a year later, confirmed by a trusted repair shop. I contacted the seller and arranged to send it back. I paid $100 to ship it to their address, but 2 months later it came back saying it was never picked up. The seller claims it wasn't their responsibility, but the tracking shows it was delivered to the correct address and just wasn't collected. Newegg was slow responding to my Better Business Bureau complaint, which allowed the return window to expire. Now they refuse to refund a defective motherboard they sold me. Skip Newegg and shop somewhere local instead.

Ordered several things from this website years ago. One item showed up damaged, others never arrived at all. Working with their customer service was exhausting because they were completely useless, unhelpful, and rude. I spent way more time than I should have just trying to get a damaged item replaced, which I ended up purchasing elsewhere anyway, plus trying to secure a full refund. Halfway through dealing with them, I had to bring in the Better Business Bureau and PayPal to actually get anywhere. It was only when PayPal was able to charge the company directly that anything got resolved. Don't bother wasting your energy on this place.

I ordered a TP-Link 52 port switch for a project with installation scheduled 4 days out. I paid extra for 2 day shipping. When I checked the tracking the next morning, it showed a 6 day delivery window instead. I called Newegg and was told they only do ground shipping, and the agent weirdly refunded my shipping fee without asking. When I asked them to rush a replacement with actual 2 day shipping and said I'd reject the slow one, they repeated that they only do ground, which makes zero sense if they're offering 2 day options knowing they can't deliver. I asked them to split the penalty costs I'll face, and they offered $50, which I turned down because I'd asked them to meet me halfway and I'm not interested in token gestures.

Purchased a $2000 CyberPower PC through Newegg and it failed after just 2 months. When I contacted Newegg, they said I had to handle everything with CyberPower directly. The manufacturer wanted me to cover shipping costs both ways from Canada to California and back, plus they recommended I pay extra to insure it since I'd be liable for any damage. There was no estimated return timeframe either. I asked if they could just refund my money given the situation, but CyberPower showed zero empathy or willingness to work with me on this at all. For a $2k computer purchased so recently, this treatment was completely unacceptable. I cannot recommend Newegg.ca or CyberPower PC to anyone in Canada. You're probably better off going elsewhere, and I wish I had made a different choice with this purchase.

My computer arrived without the keyboard it was supposed to include. I contacted support about the missing keyboard and they were completely unhelpful. Their response basically amounted to saying they couldn't send just the keyboard separately. The only thing they offered was a $30 credit on a purchase that was over $2,000. That's ridiculous. If they made the error in what they shipped, they have an obligation to send me the missing parts. I won't be shopping with them again.

My account got deleted because I tried to cancel an order within a day. Amazon lets you cancel orders, but Newegg does this instead.

STAY AWAY FROM THE MARKETPLACE! The third party seller I bought from only used their own shipping company. It turns out their shipping is just some random guy from the company bringing packages to homes. Not the kind of person you want showing up at your place. The next morning my wicker furniture was stolen from the porch. I can't prove it was him, but come on. I told Newegg support about it and they basically shrugged and said third party sellers operate independently. The Newegg marketplace is about as trustworthy as Craigslist. It's unsafe and appears to have no real oversight.

I bought an ASUS AX3000 wireless adapter and discovered it only works with PCIe 1x slots, even though 1x is supposed to be backward compatible with 4x, 8x, and 16x. Complete nonsense. The manufacturer suggested I contact the retailer about a return. Newegg refused to accept the return and sent me back to ASUS. ASUS stopped responding altogether. This is the typical runaround from massive corporations with no clue what they're doing. I wasted a lot of time and money and eventually had to offload it on eBay. Total frustration on both ends.

I placed an order on their site and was waiting for the seller to acknowledge the payment. When I logged back in a few days later to check the status, my entire order history was gone. According to Newegg, the seller cancelled it. I suspect they actually found someone willing to pay more for the same item and just reassigned the inventory. The product is now listed as out of stock so I can't reorder. It appears Newegg erased my order history specifically to keep the seller from getting a negative review. That's why I'm posting this now. I've asked them to close my account. I will never order from them again. They lost a customer and earned themselves a bad review in the process for covering up questionable business practices.

Newegg shipped my $1250 order without requiring a signature, and there's no option on their website to request one. The carrier lost the package. The carrier blames Newegg for not using signature delivery, while Newegg blames me even though there was no way to add that protection in the first place. This company is terrible.

They won't ship to Canadian PO boxes.

I'm a first time customer and my experience has been absolutely catastrophic. Ordered a tablet on September 9th and received it the next day, but it was the wrong color. They sent blue instead of the black I ordered. I asked for a replacement and followed their return process. A week later I called to check on the replacement status. The agent processed my return as a refund but with the wrong amount. Called back and got another agent who refunded the difference and set up a replacement order, but charged me significantly more than the original price. Had to call yet again and waited 30 minutes. The agent talked to me for 2 minutes, said she'd look into something, and then never came back. Don't order from them.
