My Go To

The whole Gap family is great. Old navy for a great deal, Gap for the needed basics, and banana republic for a fancier/proffesional occasion. Unlike many brands, Gap has stayed true to its style and customer base.

No package and no refund

Old Navy stole my money and did not deliver my package. After I sent a claim to dispute that they did not deliver my package they closed my claim and said that my package was delivered. I explained that they did deliver a package to someone but not to me and now they won’t give me my money back.

Using fraudulent mail carrier…

Using fraudulent mail carrier repeatedly.Old navy has been using Lasership/OnTrac for a long time now. This delivery/courier has THOUSANDS of consumers complaints of fraud online (BBB, Truspilot, Google, Reddit). However, Old Navy continues to use them and packages continue to be "unable to locate" status. Old navy says they won't refund until this package (which their carrier "lost") is returned to them. How is that consumer's fault?Report Old Navy and Lasership/OnTrac to FTC and CFPB (I did). These reports really straighten them up.

They Can't Send An Order Correctly

I ordered Christmas gifts from Old Navy on Black Friday, November 2023. They've been lost or never shipped 4 times now. They finally sent my son's gift (reordered again) today, 3/13/24. It's missing his henley shirt/sweater. I get to fill out a form for someone to get back to me in two days to decide if I get to have his shirt or if I have to reorder it a 5th time. Keep your Old Navy cash from December. It's expired by now, and I'm sick of fighting for the prices back in November. You lost a lifelong customer and hopefully anyone who will hear my story. As a full-time working mom, I hung Christmas for my family on your online store, and it completely failed 5x and it keeps on going. I will never trust it again.

I bought 13 items online from old navy…

I bought 13 items online from old navy but i received only 12 items and i call customer service they send me email and after 1 week i call again and they told me we can’t return your item you can dispute from your bank, customer service is crazy and they don’t care about anything, I won’t shop any more in old navy

Old Navy is deteriorating before our eyes

I'm getting increasingly allergic to Old Navy. This time they sent me an entirely wrong order. None of my items was sent. They offered me a refund for missing items which I didn't receive yet. But they require me to pack wrong items and send them back without offering a pick up from home. So now I have to print their label at my own expense and go to UPS office on my own to send back their wrong items. And they are not offering any free items or even a discount for future orders for all this hustle they created. And what if I didn't have a printer at home? In other words, they make you pay for their mistakes. Chat agent was very apologetic, but couldn't do anything with uncivilized, pathetic and greedy company policies. In addition to this, I noticed that one of their flagship products (sports leggings) was drastically cheapified in quality recently.I've been buying only Old Navy leggings for about 8 years. Their fabrics was perfect. I didn't need to even research other brands because Old Navy satisfied all my needs for leggings.A few months ago, they changed leggings fabrics for what they proudly call PowerSoft. And...they simply completely destroyed the brand.This new fabrics is not suitable for leggings. It is basically nylon tights. 1) It is too thin. It doesn't hold shape and doesn't even have strength to stay on hips. You have to pull them up every 3 minutes because crotch starts hanging down. 2) Underwear is visible through it.3) Fabrics is of so low quality that after the very first machine wash it got dozens of pulled out threads, to the point that it's not wearable anymore. In other words, it is single use leggings.4) New "fabrics" is causing itch. It seems to me that Old Navy decided to save on the amount of fabrics they use for each leggings, because if you compare thickness of their old leggings and these new ones, you'll see that old ones are much thicker. And they didn't have all those problems I mentioned. Looks like another cut on quality that Old Navy is trying to present as "improvement".If Old Navy plans to convert all its leggings into nylon tights forever, I'll have to find another brand for my leggings needs, for the 1st time in 8 years...And if they send me a wrong order again and make work for free to correct their mistake, I will have to abandon this quickly deteriorating company completely.

Customer service paralyzed by terrible company policies

Ordered two items from the website. Initial promised delivery date was Oct 20th. On October 20 the items still had not shipped so I contacted O.N. customer service. They told me I would have to wait until Oct 21 to even discuss the issue with them because the promised delivery date had not passed. Okay... So, I called back the next day and was then told I would have to wait 5 business days after the promised delivery date before they could cancel the order and issue a refund because the order still might ship. However, I could "request" the order be cancelled during the call, but there was no guarantee that would happen, though I would get a decision within 24-48 hours via email. So, I requested cancellation, but of course no email ever arrived. Then 5 days later on Oct 26 I received an email stating my items had shipped. A day later the tracking information showed the items had made it to a UPS facility in my city. 7 days later (Nov 2), the UPS shipping information had not updated at all, as if the package was lost. Chatted with O.N. customer service and was told they would issue a refund, at last. In summary, It took nearly 2 weeks after the "promised" delivery date to get the issue resolved. For this "inconvenience" Old Navy offered me a 10% off coupon for my next purchase with them. Uh, no thanks. Won't be shopping with them again after this fiasco.

Parents Beware - Child Sustained Injury

Parents Beware! This old navy (Wilmington, DE) had a kid's picnic bench covered with coloring paper and crayons concelaing a HUGE circular hole in the center of it. My toddler climbed on the picnic bench and fell through this hole sustaining injuries to his side and a bruised rib. The workers at this old navy could care less about the incident and alluded to the fact that it was our fault he fell b/c he should not have been climning on a kid's table. See pics. We talked to Old navy customer relations and they had the audacity to offer a $30 gift card for our issue. We will be escalating this issue to court.

Sent me the wrong order and won't refund

Only Old Navy would send you the entirely wrong items and then refuse to refund you for it! I received the wrong items in my order, and contacted customer service about it. They would not reship the items, and also were requiring for me to return the items in order for me to get a refund even though it's their mistake. In order to bring the items to a UPS store to return, I would have to pay to take public transit there and back so they are effectively asking me to spend my own money to correct their mistake just to be eligible for a refund. This is completely unacceptable customer service.

I was a weekly customer but since the gap card went to Barkley Bank, the perks have disappeared. I’m no longer ordering online and paying shipping when I’m a card holder. I’ll go to stores that give their card holders those deserved perks. Plus service had also deminished.
