What Shoppers Say About Olight
Olight shoppers are sharply divided in their assessments. Those who rate positively praise the flashlights' build quality, brightness output, and innovative features like dual switches and strong magnetic charging. They appreciate the performance characteristics and durability during normal use. However, negative reviewers report significant frustrations with the company's customer service approach, citing refusal to provide repair information, inconsistent support quality, and heavy moderation of customer feedback on social media. Some shoppers have also experienced premature product failures, misleading promotional claims regarding email list discounts, and disappointment with the company's replacement options and repair policies.
The polarized ratings suggest that while Olight's products may perform well initially, satisfaction depends heavily on the customer experience after purchase and how the company handles warranty or repair requests. Several reviewers expressed frustration that customer service prioritizes brand loyalty over genuine problem resolution, and that the company culture may not align with traditional customer service expectations.

Sorted by: Most recentTerrible experience with this company. Spent a hundred dollars on a Warrior and expected it to last for years. When I reached out about getting it fixed, they refused to provide their repair address even though I offered to cover the cost. Their solution was a 20% discount on a replacement, which you can find that same deal anywhere. It's ridiculous to spend that much on what amounts to a disposable item.
This is a fantastic flashlight. The Warrior 3S puts out an incredible 2300 lumens and has a great throw distance that's really impressive. The build feels sturdy and well-made, and I love how the dual tail and side switches give you flexibility for different uses. The rechargeable battery holds up nicely between charges and tops off quickly. Whether I'm using it around the house, going camping, or dealing with an emergency situation, this light performs great every single time. It's a well-thought-out product that does exactly what it promises.
The company seems way more interested in keeping their social media community happy than actually listening to customer concerns. On their Facebook group, you basically can't share anything negative without getting removed, and the support you get depends on who you talk to. They all just tell you what you want to hear and throw in a free gift to keep you from complaining.
Really let down by this purchase. I picked up the Arkflex because I was looking for solid construction at a reasonable price point. It fits perfectly in my pocket for daily carry and worked great during the first couple months with excellent features for my line of work. Unfortunately, now when I flip the switch it barely comes on and won't respond properly without tapping it repeatedly. I'm going to check out what other brands have to offer.
Pretty frustrated with how this company does business. They advertise a 20% discount if you sign up for their email list, but what actually gets sent out is just a 10% coupon. That's not what I signed up for.
After going through several pen lights that quit working almost immediately, I decided to try this one and I'm really happy I did. No regrets whatsoever. The magnetic charger is seriously strong, you can just wave the light close to it and it snaps on tight without slipping off. I thought it would be pretty bright, but WOW, the highest setting completely fills a room with light and the battery stayed solid the whole time I was testing. It did warm up a little bit but that's totally normal for the output it's delivering. The lock feature is awesome too because now it won't accidentally turn on if it bounces around in my pocket. The materials and construction feel premium, real nice to hold in your hand. Both the charger and light are clearly built to last. I haven't had a chance to push the waterproofing yet, thankfully haven't needed to. Haven't taken it outside for real work yet, but I'm really excited about using that magnet to mount it on car parts while I'm working underneath. Fits in my pocket like barely anything is there. If you need a new light, grab one of these, the value is outstanding.
