Easy and smooth experience

Refund approved then denied – Best Price Guarantee not honoured
I booked business class flights through Opodo and selected their Basic fare, which was clearly described as non-refundable at the time of booking.Shortly after booking, I found the exact same flights at a much lower price and submitted a claim under their Best Price Guarantee, providing full supporting evidence including screenshots, links, and matching flight details.Despite clearly meeting all of their stated criteria, my claim was rejected.The justification given was that my ticket was “refundable with fees,” while the comparison fare was non-refundable. This is simply not true and directly contradicts what was shown to me:At booking: “No refund if you cancel”In my account: “Your booking is non-refundable” and “Cancelling this trip will not result in a refund”I relied on this information when making my claim, so it is extremely concerning that Opodo later relied on completely different internal rules to deny it.Even worse, during a live chat, I was explicitly told that my refund had been approved and would be processed. This was never honoured, and I have since received conflicting and inconsistent responses from multiple agents.Overall, this has been a very poor experience. The Best Price Guarantee appears unreliable, and the handling of my claim feels dismissive and unfair.I have now had to escalate this further.I would strongly caution others against relying on Opodo’s guarantees, as my experience suggests they are not applied consistently or transparently.

Terrible
Terrible. Was being told several different things when trying to change my flight dates. Spoke to someone called Shibam and he was so rude over the phone. On a lighter note someone called Assem Goumaa (absolute Godsend) and helped me after all the terrible service i received.

I am 100% sure this rating is fake , paid rating , this company is a proper scam. The take money from you with no benefit and their customer service is horribly bad.Plz avoid plz avoid .
