Sorted by: Most recentWorst experience I've had with a subscription service. I get that missing a month happens, but they billed me for the next shipment and then went silent for over two weeks with absolutely nothing to show for it. No updates, no tracking info, and forget about getting a real person to respond to your emails. This is completely unacceptable. They need to at least wait until stuff actually ships before taking your money. Getting my paper towels from somewhere else from now on.
The actual toilet paper is fantastic quality, but the individual wrapping on every single roll ruins it for me, honestly. I really do like Reel's product better than what I grab at the store, but having to unwrap every roll is annoying enough that I'm going back to regular grocery store options. Plus, they market this as eco-friendly, which is contradictory when each roll comes wrapped in plastic. Sure, they say it's compostable, but that doesn't make the waste okay. When I asked customer service why, they mentioned health and safety plus shipping protection, but I can order regular TP online without individual wrapping just fine, so that explanation doesn't hold up. I also find the wrapped rolls kind of embarrassing when guests are over. It seems like a lot of hassle for what should be simple. I'd switch to Reel in a heartbeat if they ditched the wrapping. Same thing goes for their paper towels honestly, except they only come in packages of 12, which is way too much.
