When I went to the store, they couldn't locate my rewards account even though I gave them my number, phone, and email. Had to call to track it down myself. Eventually someone did respond, but the points balance was different from what I remembered. Sent multiple emails asking for my transaction history and got nothing back. I'm pretty sure I got cheated out of points. There's zero transparency here. If they were honest, they'd just show customers their history when asked. Their customer service is absolutely horrible and they straight-up ignore people. Tried leaving a review on their actual site but of course they never posted it. They only show the five-star glowing reviews so customers don't see how they actually operate. I won't support a company that treats customers like this. It's just awful.
Overheard employees talking about how Peppermint Halo costs $1.99 to make, then they charge customers $33.00 for it. That's absolutely ridiculous. A company claiming to be focused on healing people shouldn't have markups like that, especially when workers aren't paid well and the money just goes to the top. Plant Therapy does the same thing but with way better values and ethics.
Got a diffuser as a gift that started acting up after a little while. It would run for days without releasing any scent and the water level barely budged. Took it to a local store where they cleaned it and got it working again, but only for a few weeks before the same problem came back. Second trip to the store, same thing, they cleaned it and it worked again for a couple weeks then failed again. Tried cleaning it myself with their special cleaner and it didn't help. Third visit they asked me to leave it for a week so they could look at it. After eight days with no word, I went back in and they said they'd been busy and hadn't gotten to it yet. Asked me to leave it another week. That wasn't acceptable to me at all, not after bringing it in three times already and with it sitting there for eight days untouched. I asked for a replacement, they said no. Called customer service and got the same answer. Fair warning to buyers out there.
