Sorted by: Most recentHidden Fees at Checkout. Nothing in the checkout page warns you that extra charges will get added on top of shipping costs. I got slapped with a $40 fee on top of an $80 purchase. At that point, I could've just bought the same thing on Amazon at full price and probably saved money.
Watch Out Before You Buy! I learned the hard way that this retailer charges you for return shipping even when you cancel before delivery. To make matters worse, you have to print your own shipping label with their address and stick to their detailed packing requirements. The whole process feels unnecessarily complicated and the customer service doesn't seem to care about making it easier. I can't recommend shopping here based on this experience.
Terrible Experience With Customer Service. Ordered a phone case that came in the wrong size and tried to take advantage of their exchange option. Problem is, their exchange system is basically invisible on the site. I messaged them on Twitter and got no reply. Then I emailed customer service and they told me to click an exchange button that doesn't even exist on my order page. When I asked them to note my exchange request before returning, they said it was fine, and I also mentioned it on the return slip. Next thing I know, they just refunded me instead. Now I have to reorder, pay shipping again, and lose my first-time buyer discount plus all those extra fees. This is unacceptable and I won't be coming back to shop with Sonix.
