What Shoppers Say About Stone Refurb UK
Stone Refurb UK receives predominantly positive feedback from shoppers who praise the fast shipping, competitive pricing, and quality of refurbished devices. Multiple reviewers highlight excellent customer service, with one customer noting that Stone Refurb replaced a defective laptop with a better model rather than attempting repairs. Customers appreciate the one year warranty and report devices arriving in better condition than expected.
However, at least one reviewer reported a significant warranty dispute, claiming that a laptop battery failed after three months but Stone Refurb refused a refund, citing a 30 day battery guarantee that contradicts the advertised one year warranty. This discrepancy between advertised coverage and what the company actually honors represents a material concern for potential buyers considering refurbished electronics.

Sorted by: Most recentReally disappointed with this company. My refurbished laptop's battery quit working after just three months. When I contacted them, they said batteries only have a 30 day guarantee, which doesn't make any sense for a laptop purchase. They refused to give me my money back and wanted me to pay for repairs. The website advertises a full 1 year warranty, but that's misleading. You're actually covered for six months under consumer protection laws, so their 30 day battery coverage is basically worthless. I filed a complaint with the local trading standards office about the false advertising and failure to follow consumer protection rules. Going back to buying straight from Dell from now on, they take care of their customers properly. Won't be ordering from Stone Refurb again. Steer clear.
Really impressed from beginning to end. I spotted a competitively priced iPad Air 4th gen on their website one Saturday, purchased it, then sent them a message asking if they could rush the delivery. It showed up at my door Tuesday morning. There was one small issue where they sent the wrong charging cable, but after I let them know on Wednesday, the right one arrived Friday morning. Couldn't have asked for better service. The iPad looks practically brand new, and when I went into the settings to tune up performance, I noticed they'd already done most of the optimization work so there's no unnecessary junk. Battery health came in just under 85%, which seems reasonable for a refurbished device. I'm thrilled with how they handled the selection process, checkout, delivery, and customer support. Definitely worth checking them out.
Fast turnaround and the iPhone came in better shape than expected. I'd happily shop with Stone Refurb again.
I'd definitely recommend this place. Picked up a refurbished Dell laptop over a year ago for a really good price. The headphone jack went bad, so Stone Refurb took it back and handled it. Since they couldn't repair that one, they sent out a different refurbished model with better specs instead. It's been working hard every single day for 11 months now, and then the charging connection failed. I only had about a week left on my warranty, so I reached out immediately. They scheduled a pickup, fixed it quickly, and sent it back. The team was professional and courteous throughout everything.
Really happy so far with my gaming PC from them. It arrived super fast and I'm definitely coming back for more purchases!!
This is my second purchase from Stone Refurb and I'm really satisfied. It's a solid choice, plus you get the flexibility to upgrade RAM and storage whenever you need to. The computer runs great without any issues. I don't understand why anyone would spend twice as much on a brand new machine. Having that 1 year warranty gives me peace of mind too.
Dell Laptop. Everything went perfectly smooth. Ordered and it came within days. Packing was top notch, and the laptop looks brand spanking new. Happy buyer, many thanks.
Both the battery in the screen and the battery in the base died at the same time. Their support line basically said there wasn't much they could help with, though they offered to look into it for a lot of money. This was a Christmas present for my son that we had to save up for. He was heartbroken when we told him the £350 laptop only lasted 4 months and we can't afford to get it fixed if it's even possible to fix. I'd strongly suggest spending a little more and going with a new device. The warranty we thought we were getting turned out to be basically useless. Really sad about how this turned out 😞
