What Shoppers Say About Tea Forte
Tea Forte's recent customers report serious problems across multiple areas of the business. Issues include products that do not match online descriptions (wrong sizes, incorrect designs, insufficient tea quantities), poor customer service experiences (long hold times, inaudible representatives), and canceled orders without notification. One shopper's Memorial Day sale order was canceled without explanation, and when attempting to resolve the issue, the customer encountered unresponsive support.
All three recent reviewers gave one-star ratings, citing frustration with order accuracy, product quality, and communication from the company. The complaints suggest systemic issues with order fulfillment, product representation, and customer service responsiveness that have left shoppers disappointed, particularly those making repeat purchases or attempting to resolve issues with the company.

Sorted by: Most recentGot my second order and I'm pretty disappointed. The item doesn't match what's shown online. I ordered a $26 cup and it showed up only 4 inches tall - smaller than what my grandkids drink out of. The cup had the wrong design printed on it, the tea included wasn't what I ordered, and there's not enough tea in each pouch to make even one cup. I'm worried my first order is going to have the same problems. I bought both as Christmas presents. The website and commercials make it seem like items come in nice holiday packaging, but mine arrived in plain boxes with pictures and receipts just sitting inside where anyone could see them. I specifically marked them as gifts and included gift messages but got no gift cards at all, just my billing information visible in the packaging. That's unprofessional and tacky. The quality is honestly worse than what you'd find at a regular discount store. Now I have to buy new gifts and pay extra for faster shipping to get them there in time for Christmas. Then while my second order was sitting there, they emailed me offering a 5% discount on my next purchase. Really? After I've already spent $140? These guys seem pretty sketchy to me.
I'm rating the customer service here, not the actual tea. I had gotten a duplicate gift and wanted to swap it for something else instead of getting cash back. Here's what happened and why I'm so frustrated: First, they put me on hold for about 25 minutes total. Second, the rep's audio quality was terrible - I could barely understand him and had to ask him to repeat himself constantly. He never offered any solutions like calling me back or getting a better headset. Third, my gift was worth $97 but he said they'd only give me $57, which doesn't even add up right. Fourth, he then told me I'd have to pay for shipping both ways, which would leave me with basically $38 out of my original $97 gift. There were no other options discussed. This whole experience was really frustrating and not worth the hassle.
They cancelled my Memorial Day sale order without even telling me about it. A week went by and I didn't hear anything, so I checked the status myself and realized it had been cancelled. If they didn't want to honor the 20% discount code, they shouldn't have offered it in the first place, or they could have just said items were out of stock. When I contacted them, their response was basically to place the order again but pay full price. I not only lost out on the holiday sale prices (I could have purchased the exact same items elsewhere), but these were gifts that I needed on time. It caused a lot of unnecessary stress trying to find alternatives at the last minute.
