I called in with questions about using Western Electric 300B B Stock tubes in my Elekit amplifier and got outstanding guidance. The staff member explained that the high bias models run over 90 ma and would stress the resistor and output transformer, potentially causing damage over time due to core saturation. She suggested the low bias versions under 40 ma instead, which would perform similarly to 2A3 tubes without any risk of harming the amp. The power and midrange punch might be slightly less with the low bias option, but the tube quality is still excellent and the safety benefit is definitely worth it. Excellent advice and five stars to the whole team.

The tubes here aren't properly quality checked before shipping. They charge premium prices for things like matching and reduced microphonics, but I still got noisy, defective tubes that didn't work. Their customer support is basically nonexistent. Stay away from this company.
