This deserves a rating lower than one if possible. The coffee itself was decent but I was shocked to discover I somehow ended up subscribed to a monthly shipment charging me forty-five dollars every month. I had to get Pay Pal to stop the recurring charges since calling the two phone numbers listed didn't work and emails went nowhere. After many attempts they finally refunded and cancelled the subscription. These are bad actors and I'd avoid them.

Managed to cancel it I think, but I'm still watching to make sure nothing else charges. Didn't even create an actual account with them and they still set up recurring charges on my payment method.

When you finally do connect with someone, they won't actually help solve your problem. Then there's the sketchy side of their business. To cancel a subscription you have to click through like five different confirmation screens, so you think you've cancelled but haven't actually. They never tell you before charging for a subscription shipment, they just send it. It's not technically illegal but it's absolutely shady, especially when combined with how hard it is to actually cancel. Most decent companies give you a heads up and that should be standard practice. The worst part is they keep charging you on subscriptions you believe you cancelled because of all those confirmation screens.

The promotions they send out constantly are cheaper than having an actual subscription. I referred someone and never got the credit I was promised. Got the SHIELD coffee in the green packaging and I'm really impressed. As someone who normally drinks tea, this has totally won me over. The taste is fantastic and I find myself looking forward to my morning cup. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to try something new.
