Sorted by: Most recentGot some green teas from the He Family last year and had nothing but problems with them. I'd ordered from Verdant Tea before without any issues, but these teas kept making me feel awful every time I drank them. It wasn't a normal caffeine thing either - I'm totally fine with caffeine and other green teas don't bother me at all. Found out later that the He Family uses soy in their farming methods, possibly as a natural pesticide or fertilizer. Since I have a soy allergy, even tiny traces of soy protein can set off my immune system. That's almost certainly what was causing the bad reactions. I really think Verdant Tea should be upfront about this on their site so customers with soy allergies know what they're getting into.
