Too exhausted to write an entirely…

Too exhausted to write an entirely understandable review. Long story short: terrible service with extremely long phone conversation with intermittent holds. Given that Verizon is one of the most expensive cellphone service provider on the market, it is amazing they are still in business. I am looking into an alternative provider to not only save money, but to save me from endless frustration whenever I have to deal with them via verbal communication. I highly recommend that if you are looking for good or even just frustration free service, do look elsewhere.

Lost a channel

Lost a channel, 4 hours with support, no fix. Asked about changing Internet speed to 100 mbps and was told no such option, but I was looking at that option in their app. Support personnel lying. Then wanted to drop landline, personnel said can't change anything, but when I said I would be dropping everything for a new provider asap I was told we can save you about 5-10 dollars a month.go from a gig internet and phone to slower internet and no phone to save asawbuck. Am I crazy or are they?

20 year customer - Bad plans, bad retention, bad phone speed, bad customer service

I had a phone plan with Verizon for 20 years. I went in to upgrade my phone and review my plan recently and they said there were no deals for existing members. This made me walk next door to T-Mobile who offered me a phone plan for $50 instead of $100 a month with a new phone included! Verizon did nothing to retain my business or help me and made transferring my number a nightmare. At the last minute the lady on the phone kept offering me 25% off…10 years too late. Funny, after three days of hassle trying to moved my number I got T-Mobile and realized not only was Verizon charging me too much my phone and service was slow!! My new plan works 10x faster now for less money?? It didn’t end there after disconnecting I was billed for almost 20 days extra of having no phone plan with them…so I had to sit on customer service for the 4th time with Verizon in a week with them explaining to me when they are still trying to get money from me for a product I no longer have. Will never recommend of go back to Verizon again. 20 years a customer…0 benefits

Billing issues, false promises and hours wasted- extremely frustrating experience

I opened a line with Verizon in February of last year and traded in my iPhone 12 in excellent condition. I was promised monthly credits that would offset the cost of my new iPhone 16 Pro Max. Every single month, I was told the credit would appear on the “next bill.” It never did.After months of being misled, I decided to switch to AT&T in November. I cancelled all my services and even returned the internet modem, yet Verizon continued charging me. I had to call multiple times, including one call that lasted 3 hours, 1 minute, and 26 seconds, just to get refunds for incorrect charges.In January, I paid off everything I supposedly owed. Then in March, I was charged again — over $300, allegedly related to an iPad. This is completely unacceptable.I don’t have time to spend hours every month fixing billing errors. I pay for an expensive service expecting reliability and peace of mind — not constant frustration, misinformation, and wasted time.This has been one of the worst customer service and billing experiences I’ve ever had.

My experience with Verizon has been…

My experience with Verizon has been extremely negative and exhausting, and I feel I was misled from the very beginning. A Verizon salesperson came to my home while I was still an AT&T customer and convinced me to switch, guaranteeing that Verizon would pay off the remaining balances on my AT&T devices. Based on this promise, I transferred all three lines to Verizon. After the switch, problems began. The devices sent by Verizon were returned correctly to the store, as instructed. However, the company never fulfilled its promise to pay off the three AT&T devices. I spent countless hours speaking with customer service and trying to resolve the issue with the salesperson, but no solution was provided. On top of that, I was charged for a device that did not even belong to Verizon but to AT&T, showing a complete lack of responsibility and organization in customer service. As a direct result, my name was negatively reported, and my credit score was unfairly affected, causing real financial and family impacts. Verizon has not taken responsibility or resolved the issue to this day. I consider this an act of bad faith and misleading sales practices. I do not recommend Verizon to anyone and advise consumers to be extremely cautious about promises made by door-to-door salespeople. Given the lack of resolution, I will be seeking my rights through legal channels in the coming days to address the damages and inconvenience caused. I hope this account helps others avoid the same situation.

Verizon made 5.1 billion dollars last…

Verizon made 5.1 billion dollars last quarter but fail to maintain infrastructure. They own a building in Hopkinton, MA on Hayden Rowe that looks like a CRACK DEN. FALLING APART AN EYE SORE. Moss all over the roof brick building crumbling to pieces. You will take our money but won’t take care of your own property. Shameful. Scum lords.

The worst phone company ever especially…

The worst phone company ever especially the Goleta store near CVS. They don’t take apply pay, international cards. Staff are really rude their app dosent work and I can’t pay though it so I have to pre pay which they won’t accept anything other than cash! Avoid at all costs so expensive too. Staff so rude

its a scam total scam they will not …

its a scam total scam they will not give you what they promised I paid 300$ for a month for 3 lines and they told me that the 3rd line would be free and the plan would be even cheaper.I talk about it 100 times with there representatives they promise to do that but never happen and I return there phones which I pay 185 tax and only gave me a refund for 35$ and for the 300$ they didn’t refund which I don't even used for a month.

dropped calls, rude management, random days of no service

dropped calls, random full days of no service, sitting on hold for 2 hours to cancel service and then they send a blind bill you can't see what it's for because they say you no longer have an account-then what are you charging me-send an itemized bill if you cancel my ability to use the website to finish dealing with unkind people who find it humorous to make a person sit around for 2 hours to simply turn in their network cube to end service. West Ashely, SC has some rude management that look you in the face with a smile, talk like a computer programmed politically correct being that seems to smile at your delay and misery and act like they have saved the day when they print your receipt after making you wait 2 hours. We have other choices people, so decide what you want to deal with.
