Company did not return owed refund

What can I say, I purchased a pair of trainers for a Christmas gift on the 18th December. Unfortunately they were not suitable so I returned them for a refund after Christmas. I received a confirmation that they had been received on the 14th Jan and a refund minus £3 for postage would be in my account within 3/5 working days, I then received another email on the 21st Jan saying the same as the first. On the 27th Jan I sent an automated message via their Vivi site asking why I had not received my refund, again nothing. I then sent an email to customer services 02nd Feb, again to date no reply.Frustrated, today I contacted my credit card provider and being extremely supportive they guided me through the process to enable be to get my refund through their Fraud and Dispute department. I was assured that the money would be in my account within 3 days and they will raise a dispute claim with Vivibarefoot for recovery of the money owed. Looking at trust pilot reviews this seems to be the norm for this company in that they just don’t like returning customers money owed. I would strongly recommend that if you by goods from this company you pay by credit card so that you have a backup to get your money back. I believe the cut off for claiming is 140 days from purchase.

Poor Customer Servivces

I was gifted a new pair of hiking boots for Xmas. I have really enjoyed wearing the boots but they started leaking. The side rubber started peeling away after approx. 3 weeks. I use them twice a day for Dog walks so nothing that would warrant this after such a short time.I have contacted customer services twice who have not replied to my messages. I suppose the next steps are to chase via the phone but really, should I have to?Therefore, on the whole, I am really disappointed considering the cost of the shoes. I would not recommend due to the lack of accountability from customer services. Looking at the reviews there appears to be a trend so I would advise caution to anyone intended to purchase their products in the event that there is an issue.

Consistantly low quality and high prices

Their 12 month guarentee is decent I've used it once before but all 3 pairs of shoes I've gotten from Vivo have split at the toe consistantly and all generally in the period of one year but if you're say 13 months in well too bad, have to buy a new pair then

Excellent, waterproof Vivo Barefoot Hiking Boots

I was given a pair of Vivo Barefoot Tracker Leather AT II Womens boots for a birthday present. I wore them for the first time last week in a very wet, muddy and soggy Devon, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that my feet stayed dry every day, in all weather conditions and hiking terrain. It takes a while to get used to the barefoot" style of sole, but that is the whole purpose of this brand of shoe. I would definitely recommend.

False marketing & ghosted by customer services

Beginning of November 2025 I bought 2 pairs of boots.Primus Trail 111 - meant to be water resistant, but feet soaked in minutes when walking on short wet grass.I contacted Vivobarefoot who said they would look into it and did nothing and have since ghosted all my emails.I also bought Tracker Textile 11, which are meant to have waterproof protection and they leak like a sieve.Thoroughly exasperated and disappointed by the quality, misleading marketing and customer service who seem to be indifferent to the quality of their products and their customer experience.

Returns process is slow & communication is poor

It's hard for me to give Vivobarefoot a one star because I love the Vivos that I own. However, the returns process has declined and it's just too slow. I've been waiting for over 2 weeks after they confirmed receipt of my return. No response whenever I ask them what is going on. Also, all newer shoes I have tried recently have been really pokey in the top of the foot, even when they're made from a material that looks soft. Hence all the returns...

I am still waiting for a refund from my…

I am still waiting for a refund from my shoes that were returned on the 22nd January, you email customer services and no one replied. They only way to get any response from vivo barefoot these days is if you write a bad review on here, otherwise customer service now is non existent for this company. I would avoid.

Two cancelled orders, no real solution

I am extremely disappointed with my experience as a customer.Vivobarefoot cancelled my order twice, without providing a clear or concrete explanation. What makes this worse is that on both occasions, the only response offered was the same 30% discount coupon, as if a repeated failure could be fixed with a generic discount. These shoes were needed for my nephew within a specific timeframe. Due to the repeated cancellations, I was left without the product and without a viable alternative. A discount for a future purchase does not solve the problem when the company has already failed to deliver twice. After two cancellations, I expected accountability, transparency, or a real solution — not an automated response and another coupon. This experience shows a serious lack of customer care and reliability.I would not recommend Vivobarefoot to anyone who needs certainty that their order will actually be fulfilled.Dear Thomas - VivosupportThese are my recents ordersRW000297047RW000265626
