Offers from See's Candies rotate in from its affiliate programs frequently. Revisit the offer list at the top of this page often to catch new codes as they become available.

Compare bulk and variety boxes

Purchasing larger assortment boxes or bulk options can lower the per-unit cost of candy compared to buying smaller individual boxes, especially when combined with a working promo code.

See's Candies has a polarized customer base, with roughly equal proportions of highly satisfied and deeply disappointed shoppers. Long-time customers praise the candy's taste and nostalgic appeal, and the company has shown willingness to resolve issues when contacted. However, reviewers report significant problems with product quality, including chocolate that tastes waxy or discolored, inconsistency compared to previous orders, and concerns about product aging. Delivery and fulfillment issues also feature prominently in complaints, with several customers experiencing missed deadlines for time-sensitive gifts and difficulties modifying orders through the website.

While some shoppers remain loyal to See's despite recent disappointments, the recurring concerns about chocolate quality and reliability suggest the company may be facing manufacturing or quality control challenges. Customers who receive substandard products or have orders delayed for important occasions express significant frustration. The bright spot is that customer service has occasionally stepped in to make things right when directly contacted, though this does not address the underlying product and shipping issues that prompted complaints in the first place.

Did See's change how they make their chocolate? The mixed box I just got wasn't nearly as good as previous orders. The chocolate tasted really waxy and didn't have the flavor or feel I was expecting. Really let down.

Update: See's got back to me and acknowledged there was a problem with how their website handles order changes. They offered to add a warning message. They couldn't fix my original order, but they did rush out a replacement that got here on the 25th. Really appreciate it. Original note: I ordered chocolate turkeys for my sister's family, 7 dark and 3 milk chocolate ones. I wanted them delivered by the 25th. The website told me if I spent $5 more I'd get free shipping, so I added another turkey. Only when I got my confirmation email did I see that the delivery date had switched to the 1st through the 3rd. I emailed right away plus filled out an online form to change it or speed it up. They replied saying it was too late since the order was already going through, but suggested I call the Candy Concierge. I called and got the same response. Who wants chocolate turkeys after Thanksgiving is over? They were supposed to be sitting on my sister's dinner table. How does a system not let you make changes right after you place an order? I'm really frustrated and won't be ordering online from See's Candies ever again.

I've bought this delicious candy since I was young, so when I turned 65, my kids surprised me with 4 pounds! The closest store was in Austin traffic though, nearly 2 hours from where I am. I really wanted to handpick my own stuff and get a whole pound of just Cashew Brittle. My son wanted the same thing. After we finally got there, they told me they were completely out of my favorite nationwide. I was really disappointed. Brea working there was really nice and tried pushing a pre-made box that had one Cashew Brittle in it, but that's not the same as a whole pound of what you want. When I called customer service about how let down I was, plus some pieces I picked didn't taste fresh, they basically just thanked me and moved on without addressing anything. Also the caramel with walnuts seems to shrink every time. For $40 per pound, you'd think it would be reliably delicious. I even got a walnut shell in one caramel piece once! They wouldn't even throw in a half pound to apologize for my bad birthday experience. That 4-hour drive was for nothing.

I've been eating this wonderful candy since I was a kid, so when I turned 65, my kids surprised me with 4 pounds! The problem was the nearest store was in Austin during rush hour, almost 2 hours away. I had my heart set on picking my own selection and getting a whole pound of nothing but Cashew Brittle. My son wanted the same thing for himself. We finally made the drive and found out they were completely sold out of my favorite across the whole chain! I was really let down. Brea, who worked there, was really sweet and tried to suggest a pre-made box with just one piece of Cashew Brittle, but honestly that's not the same when you want a full pound of your favorite. When I texted customer service about how disappointed I was, plus some of the other pieces I selected didn't feel fresh, they basically just thanked me for being loyal and didn't actually help. And the caramel with walnuts keeps getting smaller each time! For $40 a pound, you'd think the quality would be consistently delicious. I even found a walnut shell in one of my caramel squares once. They wouldn't even offer a half pound to make up for ruining my special birthday. That was a really long drive for nothing.

I had a really disappointing experience with See's Candies. I placed an order on November 30th asking for delivery before December 12th, which was my aunt's 70th birthday celebration. I made sure to order well in advance and got an email confirming that my order and payment went through. Everything looked good. But when the delivery date came around, nothing showed up. There was no message about any problems. When I called them, they said there was an issue with my credit card even though it had been charged (though about $4 got refunded later). They promised to call me back, but they didn't until I called a second time. In the end, they just refunded my gift card payment and didn't really apologize or try to fix things. I was really upset because I couldn't give my aunt a special present for such a big birthday. My whole family missed the chance to celebrate her, and See's didn't do anything to make it right. They should have either sent the order anyway or at least tried to make up for the mistake, but they didn't. I won't order from See's again and think others should be careful too.

The dark chocolate mix box I ordered looked discolored and appeared to be aged. The quality was quite poor.

The dark chocolate assortment I put together looked discolored and seemed old. The quality was really disappointing.

Tried placing 15 orders but kept getting messages that my address was wrong when it absolutely wasn't. Got really frustrated and ended up with no order at all.

My order came in yesterday and I'm really upset. I've been buying from See's for many years - back when I lived in Colorado and could go to the store myself. I've always told people See's makes the best chocolate around. Not anymore. I got a bag of chocolate balls in Halloween packaging. They're basically Hershey's quality. There's no real vanilla in them, just vanillin, and the aftertaste is gross. What really got me was my 2-pound sampler. Some of the flavors were wrong. And the chocolate itself just isn't the same quality anymore. Whether it's too much vanillin, stale candy, or something else, I don't know. I got this as a special treat to celebrate making it through open heart surgery. I'm honestly heartbroken.

I've always thought See's candy was fantastic. Premium quality stuff. I've been getting their chocolate for over two decades for all kinds of business events. But in recent years, especially when buying for myself, the quality just doesn't match what you're paying for. The pieces have gotten noticeably smaller. If you're going to keep raising prices, you shouldn't cut back on what you're giving. It's just not the same anymore. The chocolate tastes stale and there's white stuff showing up on the surface. See's used to have really high standards, but now they're slipping while charging more. You'd be better off finding a different chocolate company.

I don't eat much candy anymore, but when I do, I go for See's. I'm really let down by this company lately. Prices keep climbing, sure, but $32 a pound? That's almost jewelry prices. I only like a few of their flavors anyway. I wish I could treat myself without feeling like I'm throwing money away for a small amount of chocolate. Overall the quality has been decent, though there have been a couple times the candy tasted off. I went into the San Francisco downtown spot to grab what I could afford and got helped by this woman with wild multicolored hair who was incredibly unfriendly. In 40 years of buying from See's, I've never had such a bad experience at any of their locations. Get the prices under control and hire some better staff, or I'm going to have to stop shopping here.

I grew up with See's Candy in Southern California and it was the best, no waxy stuff in any piece. Around this time of year I'd wait in line at the store to get some. Now they've changed the recipe. The chocolate is waxy. Instead of melting smoothly in your mouth, it gets sticky like crayons. I'm 77 now and won't be giving See's Candy as gifts anymore, what a letdown from a product that's been around forever. Wonder who's running things now, maybe a relative, seriously you need to fire whoever made this decision. Getting a customer back after you lose them takes 10 times as much effort and work. I'm done with See's Candy, they've ruined what used to be an iconic product. And their staff was always slow during the holidays anyway. The milk chocolate chips used to be my go-to favorite, now they stick to your teeth like crayons and don't melt the way they should. The smooth melting sensation is what made them special. Plus they used to not have that shiny coating, now they look spray-painted with clear gloss.

Wanted to send nice holiday candy gifts to my clients - went to the gifts for clients section, ordered $300 worth of candies. And then they shipped everything without a return address. So my clients got the candy but had no idea where it came from - no label, no company name, nothing. The customer service person said there's no way to add a personalized message but didn't offer any kind of fix. I've been waiting a couple weeks now and nothing, so I'm leaving this bad review.

Had an awesome experience at the Clackamas Town Center place. Debbie P. was super nice and really made my visit special. She gave me great advice on which chocolates would be right for me and steered me away from dark chocolate since that's not what I wanted. If you go there, definitely ask for her - you'll have a great time.
