Don't buy from Shiseido online. Terrible experience from start to finish. I ordered something and missed the delivery window, so I asked them to resend it. They flat out refused. The worst part is their site doesn't even let you check your package status so it's not even your fault when you miss it.

Had a terrible experience dealing with a customer service rep named Melany. I called to check on an order that was running really behind schedule and she actually went ahead and cancelled it without asking me first. She didn't even offer to look into the delay, speed things up, or keep the discount I originally got. When a company allows this kind of unprofessional and careless behavior, they're not worth supporting.

Pretty disappointed overall with how this company operates. I went to three different locations wanting to test out their new eye cream that costs a lot. None of them had sample versions available. After I emailed them about it, they basically told me to go try other stores instead. That's not helpful for someone trying to decide if the product is worth buying.

Got three skincare products from Shiseido recently and paid over 500 dollars. When they arrived, each of the two jars was only about two-thirds full and the third item was also defective. This feels like a total scam. Wish I could post pictures to show what I mean.

Got my order in about a week which was fast. Products arrived in great condition as expected from this brand.

Bought something from Dr. Dennis Gross which is now owned by Shiseido during their July 4th sale. I added items to my cart but every time I tried to complete my purchase, I got an error saying my order couldn't go through and to check my payment details. I attempted this three separate times, double checking everything twice and using a different card on the third try. Same error both times. Yet my bank account shows three pending charges from them. Getting help from their support team was a nightmare. They just said if the website rejected it I need to wait three days and try again. They kept going on about how the charges were only holds which I already understood. My real question is why their payment system isn't communicating properly with the bank and merchant account. Waiting three days when the sale ends in that timeframe is not acceptable. I'm not a superfan of the brand. Someone recommended a product so I was open to trying it but the sale window is closing. They told me to call back and they might be able to help, which makes no sense when they could have done something immediately.

They cancelled my entire order because just one item was out of stock. Meanwhile that same product is still available for purchase on their website right now. Their explanation was that if even one thing isn't available, they have to cancel everything. They said they'd send a discount code but never explained why this policy exists when items are clearly in stock. Frustrating process.

Really poor customer service here. I had an issue with my order and when I called to explain what happened, the rep just disconnected on me without warning. When I tried again, the second person told me they couldn't help and wanted me to text a specific number to get updates from the company instead. Not coming back to shop here after this experience.

Was hoping these products would work better for me but I didn't see the skin lightening results I was looking for.

Feels like they don't care about customers at all. I placed an order on July 7th expecting delivery within 3 to 5 business days based on what the confirmation said. Three days later I contacted their support to ask where my package was and they told me it would probably ship the following week. Their response said there was a system upgrade causing delays and this info was supposedly on the website since late June. They apologized but offered nothing else except the option to cancel. This is unprofessional.

The Shiseido customer service team actually came through for me on an issue involving a subsidiary brand they own. I ordered something that supposedly got delivered according to tracking but never arrived at my door. The subsidiary company completely ignored my multiple messages. Shiseido stepped in and handled it right away even though it affected their reputation. Really appreciated that.

Stay away from this product. I got an eyelash curler about 2 years back and it recently broke while I was using it, actually flew into my eye. When I reached out, their response was that the warranty had expired like that makes sense for something that should last longer. They even asked me to get a doctor's note which is ridiculous. The least they could do is send a replacement but they refused. Really wish I could leave zero stars.

My Black Friday purchase got stuck somewhere in their system. Customer service takes several days or even a week to get back to you. I tried calling and found out their system was down that exact day so they couldn't assist. Once they finally got my order unstuck, they cancelled it anyway.

The pure retinol instant treatment eye mask from Shiseido is solid. A couple of applications and it works well when left on for about 15 minutes. No stinging or irritation around the eyes and leaves skin feeling smooth. The formula is lightweight and easy to use. I'm 41 and this was my first time trying an under eye mask product. Haven't been using it long enough yet to see real changes but first impressions are good. This was a sample size.

They reject reviews that aren't positive. I posted something honest about my experience with their sunscreen being too greasy and their serum not working for me. I even left out that it made my face irritated on purpose to be fair. They wouldn't approve it and when I asked why, they never explained themselves. Really unprofessional for a luxury brand charging these kinds of prices.
