Piss poor customer service

I put in an order and had a ticket opened minutes later. They said "we cant cancel your order it is in. You have to ship it back to us despite it not having been reviewed yet [let alone processed and shipped]"Makes trying to fix an order damn near impossible these guys dont understand customer service at all they sent that reply and asked to immediately close the ticket.

⭐ 1 Star – Extremely poor customer service & warranty handlingI am extremely disappointed with SteelSeries’ customer service and how my warranty claim was handled.My Arena 7 speakers were faulty from delivery (intermittent left speaker due to a cable/connector issue). Despite this being acknowledged as a hardware fault, the process dragged on for weeks with repeated delays, conflicting information, and unnecessary hurdles.Key issues:I was repeatedly told no replacement stock was available, then later told stock was available.I was refused a refund despite the product being faulty from arrival and Australian consumer law being raised.I was pushed toward a store voucher instead of a proper replacement or refund.I was required to physically destroy my speakers before receiving any resolution — an unreasonable demand given the circumstances.The final voucher amount did not match what I originally paid, despite assurances from customer service that it would.Communication was slow, inconsistent, and dismissive, with responsibility repeatedly shifted back onto me.This has been a major inconvenience, especially considering I was overseas for part of the period and clearly communicated this. I expected far better from a “premium” gaming brand.Steelseries I went all in on your gear in the sum of over $2000 & you can't even give me a like for like and offer me a $300 voucher on a $450 desktop Arena 7 speaker. You need to revise your customer service before I have the chance to get too all of your social media posts and expose this company for what it truly delivers. false claims and terrible follow ups. I have covered about half the globe already with a shortened version of this review on your socials.

Steelseries delivery

I only bought from SteelSeries because I trusted their promised delivery date, but they never even sent a tracking number. Customer service blamed being “busy” and offered a discount I will never use, since I won’t order from them ever again. Their delivery estimates are completely unreliable, and they clearly don’t care about their customers. Highly disappointed.

No refund after sending back headset

I ordered in the official SteelSeries shop and after sending back the headset because it didn't meet my expectations I didn't receive a refund 2 weeks after I sent back the package.The supporter "Aurora" or whatever their real name is, reiterates that there is some company policy that causes the delay in refund, but in the end SteelSeries' company policy isn't above the law. I lawfully withdrawn from the purchase contract according to EU law and still they are not complying with it and withholding my refund. I needed to open a PayPal complaint.

I got Arctics 9X..

I got Arctics 9X... and it sucks big time, I can use them with my PC and my phone, but headset always fail in connection with PC or phone.. It says .. for xbox... but thats triple shit, it should have worked for PC, xBox and others, but it does not. It is just shit... I regret..

We just bought a 2nd pair an the mic doesn't work for my iPad. It keeps going in and out. The first pair worked. Good for awhile than had the mix issue than bought another pair only a few days old an still have the same issue

Ignoring Statutory warranty laws and Irish Consumer Law

Bought a Nova 7 WoW Edition, 3 months later it was already broken and requested a refund and a RMA.I was denied a refund, which is against the Irish Consumer Law. I opened a case with Small Claims Court and will NEVER buy anything from this con company. Typical American 'fu consumer' behaviour that is not tolerated in Europe.

Software is the problem

Software is the problem. Steelseries make good hardware but have decided that cheaping out on software is their path. I have the Gamedbuds, Pro headphones, mouse etc (over 1$k of their hardware). I have invested in this brand. And its all for nothing. The software regularly and reliably lets it down. I'm tired of new updates that i should be pleased about reliably breaking things and resetting options that I rely on. This is not a reliable company. The software ruins everything. It never improves, every update breaks something else. This is who they are. Garbage updates breaking the hyper expensive products you own. I am so tired of this. I have stopped buying their products and have moved on. I no longer care what Steelseries make.Note the Gamesbuds are particalarly awful, not in front of the reciever? forget it. Disconnect based on their own random timing? You have to put them back in their box or wait for... a VERY long time... to get them to reconnect. Steelseries are TIRESOME in every way. You dont't want this in your life.

headset just killed itself

headset freaking decided to just stop working after playing games. not even in bad condition or anything and it just stopped working. doesn't turn off and the reset button didn't do anything. not reccomending this to anyone if this is what's gonna happen after a few years of use. i would love to have an explaination of why this has happened because if it doesn't work in the next 24 hours it will more than likely get smashed to pieces in a fit of blinding rage. really appreciate spending 150$ for this to just kill itself after 3 years of use.
