If you're in California, check out some of their locations there. I've been going for about five years and my experiences have been pretty consistent overall. The prices are reasonable for waxing services. You can usually get an appointment without much trouble. I'm docking one star only because sometimes you might get an esthetician who isn't great, maybe they seem tired or just aren't totally focused on doing the best job they can. But honestly, I haven't had any experience there that I'd call truly bad.

I've been a regular customer for years, spending money on their premium waxing packages because the sales staff told me that regular waxing would eventually lead to thinner hair growth and less regrowth over time. That turned out not to be true. I've kept coming back consistently and spending that money, but after all this time there's been no real change at all. Now that I realize the service doesn't actually deliver what was promised and I want to stop paying, they're refusing to give me back the money I have left in my prepaid sessions. They got my money by making claims about results that didn't happen and now they're keeping it. This company seems to operate by misleading people about what waxing can do and locking them into agreements. I'd recommend going somewhere else.

The promotion didn't work as advertised. I scheduled a Brazilian wax online and selected the first wax free option. Since the discount didn't show up on the website, I called the New York City location to make sure my appointment would be free. After the wax was done, I tipped the waxer $12 cash since she did excellent work, but then I was told I'd only get half off instead, making the total $50. I asked for a receipt and was promised it would come via email, but I never got one.

Honestly, I'm not sure if it was a real scheduling issue or just the front desk staff not doing their job correctly. When I rescheduled, I was given such a short window to get there. I drove a long distance from one city to another for this appointment, and when I was just 10 minutes late to the new time due to traffic, they wouldn't see me even though they were still open and had availability. The whole situation was incredibly frustrating. The website shouldn't let people book appointments that can't be rescheduled the same day if a technician calls out. Your staff also needs better training on how to handle rescheduled appointments, especially when customers are traveling a distance to get there.

Every time I come in and leave, the staff bothers me about prepaying for future waxes or buying their stuff. I'm only there to get a waxing appointment paid for as usual. Please stop pushing me to buy products and membership packages. It's really annoying. Yesterday they literally wouldn't let me walk out until I signed up for a prepaid plan. I had to get firm and say no multiple times before they'd let me go. It's way too much pressure.

I went to the Hollywood, Florida location and had eyebrow waxing, eyebrow tinting, underarm waxing, and bikini waxing. The esthetician was wonderful and really talented. The whole process was quick, painless, and extremely thorough. Since I hadn't gotten waxed recently I was pretty nervous, but she instantly helped me feel relaxed and comfortable. When you're getting sensitive areas done, that comfort level makes such a difference. The room was clean and pleasant to be in. My skin didn't get irritated from the wax and it came out incredibly smooth. I'd absolutely recommend scheduling an appointment with her.

The wax was smooth and didn't hurt, and my skin looked perfect afterward. I'd definitely book with her again.

I had an upsetting experience from the moment I arrived. While waiting to go back, I overheard a manager being really disrespectful to one of the employees. The manager kept insulting the worker and said some really hurtful things about her. I spoke up and told the manager how inappropriate it was to talk to staff that way, and I asked to cancel my appointment. This place clearly needs better management who understand how to treat their employees with basic respect. This wasn't even the first time I've witnessed this same manager being mean to someone on the staff. The owners and general managers need to make some serious changes and put a stop to this kind of verbal mistreatment.

The actual waxing staff does fine work, but everything else about this place is a problem. The front desk people are incredibly rude, and the trainers are even worse. I tried calling the main office to complain and left multiple messages, but nobody ever got back to me. When they run promotions, they only tell customers about them on the day of the appointment instead of advertising ahead of time. It seems like they're stuck in an old way of thinking about customer service. One of the Southern California locations, and I definitely won't be going back. Find somewhere else to get waxed.

This was the worst experience I've ever had with customer service. I've been bringing my 12-year-old daughter to this location for almost a year to get her eyebrows waxed. Today I saw a different waxer than usual, and it was absolutely terrible. She waxed half of my daughter's eyebrows and then stopped, saying my daughter couldn't get waxed because she had acne and had put lotion on her face earlier that morning. They still charged me. My daughter, like most kids her age, does have acne, and she put lotion on at 7 in the morning for a 3pm appointment. I've never had an issue before with her getting waxed because of either of these things. I went back and demanded my money back, and the waxer argued with me, saying she wouldn't wax her own daughter and that she's been doing this for four years. The front desk employee called a manager over, but this manager didn't even come talk to me or apologize. Nobody said sorry to me or my daughter, who was upset. To make matters worse, I got home and discovered that the waxer had burned my daughter's face with the hot wax. I won't return to this location and I'd strongly advise others to stay away too.
