Got quick help sorting out an issue with my sear burner and they shipped a replacement right away. Once I installed the new one, I discovered the trick to getting it to light consistently: the other two tube burners need to be going first. Light those up, then try the sear burner and it'll stay lit. Without doing that first step, the sear burner will catch fire but die out immediately, no matter if you hold that knob down for 2 to 12 seconds before switching it left to ignite.
